Many players hate PVP Arena, because after lvl 70 there is too big difference in item level there, from 1500 to 4500.
And players with low item level are always suffering there, and so, there is no reason to go to PVP, untill you reach 3000 Item level. And that's why players with item level less, than 3000 avoid Arena and PVP at all. As for me, that is not good.
So, how can you solve the problem?
Easy! We just need an mechanism (algorithm), which will gather up equal parties to arena, counting the average general level for party.
For example, one party have players with 4200, 2000, 2500, 4000 and 2300 item levels. The average general level of this party is 15000.
So, against this party queue should gather up party with equal average general level (+/- 200 difference range), like 5 players with 3000 item level.
This way we will have more or less balanced PVP with equal chances to win for both teams. And that's how you can return many players to PVP Arena.
You can ask: what to do with pre-made parties with very high item level? Find against them as equal party, as it's possible, by making difference range more wide (from +/- 200 to +/-1000 and more). That's better anyway, than doing nothing with PVP.
