Is the lag truly unbearable?

Played for a bit on PC and really enjoyed it.
However, I've always preferred console play. I've played briefly on my Xbox but it does seem to run a bit rough. Does it get better/worse?

Certain things on xbox do run badly most dungeons and solo play is perfectly fine, but if you go to the well expect it to lag from time to time

It gets better and worse. Obviously I can't comment on the lag you're experiencing but at times it's ridiculously bad like during SH dragons or when you have a mob larger than 10 enemies attacking. Sometimes its smooth but it can definitely get pretty bad.

Depends on if your wireless or wired, good or bad internet, how many player are in one place spamming powers, people logging in, snapped apps, other apps you've yet to quit out of, being in a party chat, cn. All reasons lag can hit ya. :p

I've rarely had issues with lag on Xbox. I seem to have more issues with lag on PC than I do on Xbox.

you are lucky then. I have a wired connection and it can be very very bad indeed. definitely game stopping sometimes. other times just irritating. rarely is it good. you just adapt to it.

That would get annoying, especially for someone who streams on occasion like I do. I have a wireless connection, and currently my modem is quite a bit farther from my Xbox than it used to be, but it still seems to be decent. I haven't tried streaming since I moved, but probably will do so in the next few days, just to make sure I still can.

don't think the lag is the problem it's the ability of the Xbox to deal with the game full stop or the game isn't optimised well to run on the Xbox

It can get pretty bad at times.. The frustrating part is having to hammer a button to get a power to fire off... As a HR I really need the controls to be more accurate, I'd say 30% of my button presses do not register :(

That seems odd. I have the opposite issue sometimes, especially with my A button, I will press it once, and it will press multiple times. Really annoying if I'm trying to inspect someone and it invites them to party instead.

seconded (also as a hr) I'd even say worse than 30. especially in important encounters like edemo, tiamat and dragon runs. I have to mash the buttons repeatedly to get my rotations off sometimes they never seem to register. it messes me up going to other games because I'm so used to going bambambam on the same key to try and get a response.

i've had that problem but it's not pressing numerous times. it's just moving from one target to another. a players hitbox is going over the hitbox of the thing you're trying to pick up and it changes priority on you midstream. irritating.. but I'm pretty sure that's what causes it not lag or reverse lag. at least that's my experience. it does that as well when you're trying to change characters and instead it inexplicably moves to the another menu item.

It does it with other things too sometimes though. I think it may be my controller causing it. It does it with menus sometimes. Mostly my A key is the one I've noticed it with.

this week has been especially bad. I played a cn earlier the orbs were literally teleporting. there one second across the map the next people dying left and right for no reason. you'd feel yourself be pulled across the map but no green line then boom green line. massive massive lag. those red server not responding things going up to 30 seconds. ugh

    ^^^^^^ This
WOD dragon runs, Tiamat, Stronghold Dragons all can be hideously bad, worse, players lash around trying to find someone to blame, before the Nerf it was the OP before that Astral Seal and Astral Shield, lately they are blaming the DC lol. Basically the game asks too much both of its servers and the Xbox one at times.

Maybe it will get better with Scorpio in 2017 (we can but hope).
