refine artifacts

iv just bought an epic level wheel of elements to replace my gwf mythic sigil, I tried to refine my mythic sigil into my epic wheel but the gwf sigil doesn't she up, is this a bug or how it's ment to be? is it because iv used the gwf sigil?, I refined my elemental great axe into my twisted weapon so I thought it would be the same for a sigil

You can't refine class artifacts into other artis. It should tell you in the tooltip: "Cannot be used to refine other items"

Yea, you can not refine class sigil into any other kind of artifacts. Why? Because you can go to the reward person and claim another class sigil if you misplace one. So why would they let you refine your class sigil into another artiffact over and over and over lol.

Yeah I also found out the hard way, I levelled a few Sigils up to Epic quite some time ago to use as feeders... oops lol

I burnt a ton of stability stones to upgrade HR sigil in order to feet to my CW sigil! I found out that class artifacts do not work that way! The whole premise is absurd because I have a 590k worth o rp sigil, sitting on my bag and cant even use it for my HR because it is btc! The footnote is not discernible at all that says u cannot use to refine others! I propose sigils to be used for refining others or at least refining different sigils! Or for the love of God make them account bound so we do not waste our time and money for nothing!

The reason why they don't is because you can replace one simply by going back to the vendor and picking it up again. This would wreck the sale of artifacts in the AH completely if players could use them as feeders.

The only way they'd allow that would be by seriously restricting what you could pick up - e.g. a limit on how many you could pick up, probably 1 or 2.
