All chat channels bugged.

Somewhat recently I've been experiencing a bug where I am unable to communicate via chat channels. I receive no incoming chat from any chat channels i.e. looking for group, trade, guild etc. I am also unable to communicate via private tells. In addition, I receive no guild wide emails. I've submitted a ticket via support and gone through the steps provided, but have had no success in restoring functionality.

I did compare my characters mail to that of my wife's character who is in the same guild. It would appear that I stopped receiving guild wide emails sometime between April 5th and April 28th.

As a lay ditch effort, arc support suggested I post here and see what pops up.

Yeah they always say that when they have no idea what's going on or how to fix it.

Many members from my guild have said they miss things that've been said in guild chat or that nobody sees their posts. We've taken to spamming x3 times anything important such as instructions when running dragons.

Don't know if OP's issue is the same (maybe an xbox communications ban?) but the issue armadeonx mentioned I gave up chasing: http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1204698/issues-with-guild-chat

No chat ban as the issue is only in neverwinter. The listed fixes given by support included clearing cache and other xbox maintenance type items, but so far nothing has worked.

@irishfanatic4424 Have you checked to make sure you are able to receive Xbox communications from people who are not your friends? Changing this setting to have it so only your friends can communicate, reboot your Xbox, then change it back so everyone can, has worked for at least 1 player in the past.

@kreatyve it isn't that I've had mine to register everyone yet I sill don't see some things guildies say.

I tried that, yes. I've also tried friending guildmates and then sending them tells to no avail. I just checked with xbox live to see if I have a comm ban and have been assured that I don't. So now I have an open ticket with them as well.

I'm all out of ideas. I know that just about everyone has issues with the chat every now and then, I have had times when I can't see what half my guildies are saying, but I don't know anyone that has had issues to the extent you are describing, @irishfanatic4424 . I do hope you get them resolved.

I've noticed that when XBOX Live is having issues, Neverwinter starts acting erratically, such as being unable to chat, unable to see chat, unable to see if any guild members are online, unable to purchase Zen (via real money), constant "server not responding" messages, unusual amounts of lag, etc. I've noticed most ppl don't check the status of XBOX Live when Neverwinter starts acting up. Remember, our gameplay experience is determined by XBOX Live working properly. If it's not, we suffer until they fix it, depending on what the issue is. I've noticed XBOX Live seems to be having a lot of issues lately, so it's possible that contributed to the issue the OP mentioned

I've had this happen and is still happening, only in guild chat... sometimes have to post it up twice for people to see
