Need help, back after 7 months

Hi, I just logged back into the game after 7 months off and I'm a little lost. I went from knowing as much as I could about this game to being lost. Took me a few seconds to remember how to invoke

Used to run a trapper with a variation of katozee's build but i stopped midway through mod6. Can anyone help fill me in on where the class currently stands? BiS artifact sets, weapons companions etc?

I know augments are done, I was prepping bonding rune stones for this, what works better? I'm sure my legendary elemental weapons aren't good anymore, what should I strive to get?

Also armor wise, I stopped before black ice shaping was available so I don't know what I should go for.

Heck it seems my rage drake has stats now?

Any help or input is appreciated!

Welcome back, a lot has changed since Mod6, there will be a lot to grind for so hopefully with all the input you can be better informed of what you want short term and long term.

I had not fully adopted Kato's build, I was pro-Power/recovery so my encounters snapped back. It's why I still use the Imperial set. But, I have begun work on the Lostmauth set which I feel is still BiS. There are many campaign boons to grab, mount stables, and new gear to ponder.

Your Elemental Weps are still good... for a maximum 80% refinement into your new Underdark Twisted set.

No need to wait for 2x refinement as the Twisted takes your current set at 2x value. Sucks that NW leaves a little for you to grind for Legendary.

Bondings are the way to go and your choice in companions are great these days. I prefer the Mercenary. I would suggest getting your bondings to r12 before anything else. I wish I had.

I have a mix of armor for now until I can gather all the resources for Umbral gear. I focused on Crit so I have two pieces of Elemental Elven Assault and Elemental Dragonflight Raid gear.

Check the links below. There is a lot to consider and sample with mounts and their powers. I have changed things around sampling the affects each offers my character. I am using Protector Comaraderie, Protectors Friendship X2, Warloards Encouragement, Articifers Influence.

the Lostmauth set is bis right now however it is getting nerfed which means that might .

build:trapper
weapon:twisted
enchantment:dread
companion: i have the owlbear summoned but u might do better with a bonding such as the mercenary summoned
artifact set:lostmauth (for now but maybe not much longer)
