Best class for me? please help

pinkspiderxpinkspiderx Member Posts: 22 Arc User
So i have played a CW and a DC and i left for a while. Now i am back and i was wondering what class would be best for me that does not need a lot of good eyesight (low vision) to play. I dont want to be a melee/sword person id rather stick to a dps with good survivability and doesnt need to frantically change stances/weapons/etc. lease help?

Pity, since GWF fits all your requirements except it being melee/sword. The bare minimum you need is just its class mechanic and an at-will, don't have to think about action points or dailies. It's that easy, the class escapes game mechanics that's crucial to every other class.

The CW would likely still be your best choice, if you get over 10% lifesteal, you have enough non-targetted AOEs for encounters to hit enemies easily around you and recover health while fighting for most solo-able content. The DC while survivable relies more on small circular targeted AOEs that you still have to aim while grouping enemies together.

    My suggestion is ..
If willing to takes melee be GF dps +buff build not much gears required and easy to find party
Range go for scourge warlock lets the pets do the work and walk around casually avoiding AOE with laser beam shooting mobs and occasionally other encounter use.

But you need to look around for this, you can't just pop buff without checking where everyone is. Also since you are encounter based, you'll have to keep an eye on cool-downs.

Based on his criteria it's definitely GWF.

    GF Buff
ITF is 50' personal burst which does not required targeting , KV is 150' personal burst.... i doubt an ex DC player will have problem with that...

As for cool-down most classes even GWF will have to keep and eye on his hidden dagger/battle fury/daring shout expiry/cool-down to recast .

Furthermore GF can block when it comes to boss AOE attacks while GWF will have to avoid it.

However I do agree GWF is a good choice.. but the guy above me said it 1st so i'm just suggesting other alternative ^_^
