Overflow Experience Reward

700k exp with such limited leveling options is already a pain to achieve. But that's not all. There's a great chance that even when you reach it you'll get 30k rough AD, companion tomes or a few rank 5 enchants as a reward but surprise surprise, no Power Point. For instance, my main 2 chars haven't gotten a power point 3 times in a row now, each. 4.2m exp down the drain.

Suggestion: give a power point 100% of the time when overflow experience reward is reached. No exceptions. Wouldn't hurt to add more exp gain options too.

Where is the thrill of the chase? Reduced to another 700k, another power point - big deal.

If, on occasion, when you got a Power Point and then had a 5% chance to get a Heroic Feat point or a 10% chance of an Epic Feat Point.

You may care about that Power point in the first may be 10 power points. After that, you don't really care.

If it was like back in mod 4-5 when you needed like ~235k exp for a reward and dailies gave 3,5k each then it would be fine to have it random. But now they increased the EXP mark 3-fold, nerfed daily quests rewards 3-fold and made just about everything harder 3-fold. What's the point of all this?

This also widens the gap between new and old players/characters by a lot. I have a GWF that had maxed every power before mod 6 in 4 months playing casually and I have a paladin that hadn't gotten a single power point for a month now. This is just bad.

I think my GWF got 2 to 3 power points since he reached level 70. So far, only one overflow did not get the power point but many tombs.

If you want experience fast. Do ToD quests. They are super easy and don't take long but tons of XP. Also, leadership also provides XP.

Also, in this patch (I have not checked), it supposed to give better XP for the newer quests.

I told you already. The dailies were nerfed. Only the ones you get in PE give full exp. Others give 1200 EXP, even those in IWD and WoD that are so much harder. But that's just a part of the problem.

I must say that the lower tier of rewards really suck. A handful or rank 5s, or a flawless sapphire, for 700k xp - 50 freaking daily quests - you must be kidding me cryptic. For that kind of boring grind i'd expect at the very least a couple of black opals...

It's not 50 daily quests, it's 584 :) Of course, that's if you use no azures and don't kill a single monster. Despite that, it's still a friggin disaster.

The main problem I have with the overflow power point randomness relates to upgrading powers to rank 4 and the 70 points spent + level 70 requirement.

My pre-mod 6 characters are fine, they have plenty of power points from the old system and can upgrade all used powers to rank 4 once they hit level 70. My Paladin needs 8 extra power points and the only way to get those is through the overflow lottery.

I'm of the opinion that at level 70 you should have enough power points to upgrade your main 9 powers to rank 4. The best way to do they may be to lower the threshold to 60 points spent + level 60 or perhaps give an extra power point every 10 levels (note: this is just a random idea, I haven't fully thought it through). Overflow power points should be nice to get and provide flexibility. Currently I'll be disappointed to get anything but a power point for my Paladin.

Since it was mentioned, I did get a single black opal the only time I've got the overflow reward so far.

Once again, spent like 4 hours farming giants for the next overflow experience award and for what? Another 30k rough AD and no power point. 4th time in a row. Amazing.

Try this.. save all your overflow points don't collect rewards.. and once you get 30 or more open them all at once

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!

And it will only take half a year to collect. Nice...

"Enjoyed" my 4 rank 5 enchantments.
Who really needs something useful in this game? Why should you even ask for power point or fair reward

My main 2 characters roll over the XP every 3 to 4 days now.
