how much does wicked reminder decrease enemies damage resistance?

I hate when an encounter power states that it decreases an enemies damage resistance but does not give you a percentage of how much. How much does wicked reminder decrease enemies damage resistance and does it also decrease the the enemies damage resistance for the rest of the my group? I typically slot this encounter power for T2 bosses/Dragons and I'm really curious if the damage resistance is even worth it or should I slot another encounter power? Any insight on wicked reminder would be greatly appreciated! I am currently at 3,170 IL, 2 pieces of DF assault and 2 pieces of DF raid gear, and I run the mercenary companion at legendary with 3 rank 12 bonding runes.

The math buffs might be able to come here and explain better, but I can give you a general answer.

Wicked Reminder absolutely is worth it against bosses. In fact, you can use it throughout an entire dungeon if you like. Most TRs are using Blade Fury, but I find it utterly boring. The extra damage BF gives you might up your Paingiver numbers, but it won't increase the efficiency of a good party. Trash is trash. Smoke Bomb is, by far, the more important AoE to a TR.

Some embedded, tougher mobs in groups, go down much faster with WR. Not only will you do nice damage with it, the rest of your party does benefit from it. So yeah, it's really good.

Thank you for the insight. I am glad to here that it does benefit the rest of my party since it is a team effort after all. I will continue to use it and I have to test it out on the EToS trash mobs. Still curious on the percentage of damage resistance decrease.

7% / stack. Can stack 3x, so, it's like a 21% damage bonus for the team for few seconds.

If you are the only TR in a team, this power is amazing : short cd, stealthed WR multi-proc LoL set ( and buff it for 21% even after the nerf ).

In dungeons like Elol, or Etos, usefull for the entire run. In other cases, usefull for bosses.

But keep in mind that the debuff stack only 3x, and only applied by 1 TR. And it buff the entire team, so it's not the better power for be the #1 in paingiver. It's a power for teamwork.

you can proc the demise from wicked reminder faster than other encounter . because you need just one wicked reminder from stealth to imidiatelly stack it 3 times that means reminder charges will never end .

#1 in the pain giver is just for bragging rights. A decently geared GWF that plays their class correctly will have the #1 spot 9 out of 10 times anyways. I aim for #1 but #2 and helping the entire team seems like a win for everyone in the group. I can live with that. After all, It is a TEAM EFFORT and THERE IS NO "I" in TEAM. Thanks for the response.

Sure there is, in my team, there is I and my helpers!

Actually, a good team consists of 5 very egotistical "I"s that are constantly working on being the best, while paying very close attention to their team.

It may also be worth mentioning that WR is a small radius AOE if mobs are grouped tightly together. (Similar to the AOE effect of Indom. Battle Strike but with a smaller area of effect)

This is most effective when your running with an HR using cordon. If you see mobs get grped together in a cordon, hit them with WR, it will do dmg and debuff every mob in the cordon. I used to also use it to the same effect back when CW's used Arcane Singularity, which is rarely used nowadays.

Thanks for the math information. I almost unslotted this encounter because the tool tip states "decreases damage resistance", which seems to imply that if you have Armor Penetration over 60%, it doesn't add anything. It's nice to know it actually is a debuff, not just an increase in armor penetration.

Could you clarify something for me, please. I like to use Wicked Reminder on Dragon Herald runs, and I am curious if it only buffs the immediate party, or does everyone striking the dragon get the bonus? Same for Tiamat runs--you have 20 people attacking the same dragon--do they all get the benefit? or just those in your immediate party? Again, same for Demogorgon, since you have two parties.

It's actually a debuff applied to the target so all benefits

This! For any large beasts it's always the first part of my rotation (from stealth). Double hit of debuff and SoD, so it's always worth the switch from BS before the boss encounter.
