It seems that all you need to do to win pvp is to have Trans Negate and Trans or Perfect Vorpal oh and AP Drain just to top it off, Is it too much just to have the teams semi balanced? Just seems like battles between the have and have nots.
totally absurd theater with a flavor of stress and sadness...
like if 4 year old children (level 70 newcomers to pvp with around 2k IL and basic pvp gear) would have to box against heavy weight boxers (4k + IL, top pvp gear, guild boons, trans this and that, etc pp).
pure sportsmanship!
and heavy weights even complain about this or that unfairness (see other recent threads here)... unbelievable... :-)
You have to understand that even the "heavy weights" are tired of it. It is not much fun playing against toons with half your own item level, toons that die before even one full rotation. Its boring, and as everyone already knows, usually results in one side standing around at there campfire and the otherside just standing around wherever....waiting...patiently waiting for the point bar to fill up, so we can reque And try again for at least a semi challenging match.
yes, i understand that *nod* -- but at least the heavy weights would have the possibility to put down some of their gear i know it's unrealistic though
the children are usually not in the position to buy enough gear fast enough even less farm it at this point in game
it's also clear, that this situation is a selling proposition (buy gear or eat sand!)
No "heavyweight" player should ever have to "gear-down."
PvP in this game is highly gear-driven and that, by itself, is not so terrible. The problems lie in matchmaking and enchantment imbalance.
I recently upgraded my defensive enchantment from Trans Barkshield to Trans Elven and the difference is massive.
Barkshield used to be a fairly underrated enchantment and worked extremely well with certain builds. These days, you get hit with a DoT against good competition and it's lights out. If you got controlled somewhere in there, which is highly likely, you are toast.
I have no problem with the effectiveness of the better enchantments, I just wish they were all relatively usefully. It would normalize prices and encourage a lot more trading and experimentation. Variety is always a good thing.
yes, can see all this...
i experimented with some, but cannot afford trans level of the more expensive ones
my impression so far: the field knows well what works best... for armor that seems to be negation, elven and i see some bloodtheft too... (not tested that yet, but i bought a perfect 2 days ago to try it out)

But broken in nice way. lolol. Now i can go stealth as you my friend. I know you dont't like it but here is reality) And i don't mind shadow beeing fixed. It will still be good enough and pretty op.
