Boons in the Stronghold

HI i was wondering how to get the defense boon for my stronghold. Our Guild Hall is lvl 9 and it showed that we can open the maidens lane byway. I was assuming we got to choose which one we can build. Any help would be great thanks.

    Yes i know that i was wondering if there is an option to build it. When i built it it shows the temple being built but i didnt see an option to choose the stable
    Now the temple has been built should i demolish and retry for the temple?

    The option is chose by the Contribution target, not at the building plot. Set the target to the Stable. By the way, you will lose all those resources you invested into the temple if you demolish it, unfortunately.

    I thought it just switched the target for contribution & amended the requirements - bad news if you do lose the stuff already donated?

    If you mean the contribution target, then no, you wont loose anything, you can change those as much as you want, I do so on an almost daily basis.
    Also, iirc, you can't actually cancel a building in progress, you need to let it finish, though I didn't try to go to the plot and try (I never wanted to demolish anything)
    But demolishing a building is a loss, huge huge loss.

    If you made the wrong building your better off waiting until you can build your next boon structure. The current one has its own rewards, so I would never demolish it:(
