Hi folks, wondering about the first boon and which tends to be more beneficial ... LS severity or Healing Bonus? Has anyone done any research on which conditions of a character justify one or the other? Thanks!

I've been taking lifesteal severity because most of my characters only use lifesteal to heal, and I rarely run dungeons with a dedicated healer. Thus the lifesteal gives an extra percent healing with no diminishing returns. So unless you are a healer class and don't rely on lifesteal at all, I think the lifesteal severity is better.
Question is, is the severity working? I choose this too, but in my character sheets there is life steal severity 1 and 100%, the 5% is not shown there.

Look further down to where it shows your Lifesteal chance. Lifesteal Severity should be just above that stat. I took this boon and the extra 5% shows up on my character sheet.

Speaking about this -- I have ~260 points in incoming healing, and where these are reflected I can see 2% incoming healing increase.
I scroll down to the defense section where the "bonus incoming healing" line is, and it shows a big fat zero. Is this a representational bug or what?

depends on your class and tree imo incom. healing +400 is about 2% more incoming healing below 1000 point 5% LS severity is 5% more LS i guess in case you use ACT you can look up for the % of healing done by lifesteal vs the rest, so if your lifesteal is below 40% incom. healing would be better (5%x40=2% x 100) Tank and healer take incom healing anyway , my templock would take LS severity to spend more healing to the group etc., I took LS severity being damnation atm. since i am at 1000 points hardcap most time
yep as a tank who someday hopes he will need a healer and not a ap battery i took +healing as it would make more sense ifcontent was tunned like in a real mmorpg.
to clarify:
As a tank i stack defensive stats like well defense, deflect and HP. At a boss fight i expect to have for example a pool of 200k HP, other players having for example 100k. A boss should hit me for 50k, other players for 80k. Ideally i should be the boss's target meaning he hits me for 50...50..50 and in the mean time the priest heals me for 50...50...50 thanks to +healing on me.
in reallity i am needed to stack ap gain and just permabubble and perma temp.hp due to current game style. and the priest better be giving ap or debuffing the boss.
Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost" zhentarim-warlock-companion
