    If you put some points in defence and arp you surly can beat him, it´s L2P issue by sure.....hahahaha
    NWO-PVP = dead
    NWO-PVP in mod 9 = what comes after dead?

    About the topic itself: A problem is that not even devs know what the classes must do (their main job) at all. Right now, we have 8 class which 7 out from them can be STRIKERS together their main job... This must GO away for good; however, will not be possible or happend at all because MOST PLAYERS (on this is community) are so greedy and have that "I want to be a killing machine" complex that drove devs to turn the TANK class into striker class too, allowing it to fill the roles for both striker AND tanker. Unlike "LoL", here, players dislike to be "supports" but they are really happy if they have supports for themselves as happened back on mod4 with CW-community, calling all other classes "their supports".
    Exactly, only missing an overwork for GF next mod that adds a healing-tree (GF "riviver" spec).
    Capstone : the GF heals the ammount of damage blocked in combat.

    the Devs try to balance the match but it doesn't work,
    so it's definitely time for "Item level pvp Queue",

    After entering a match and your " ItemLevel" increase over the cap, you will be "automatically kicked", this is for the lower queues.
    so people will learn not to abuse it, if you lower your item level will nothing happen of course. (for whatever reason)

    this wil nothing change for BIS players but for all newbies, they will have a chance to fight against same geared people
    and hopefully enjoy it more.

    When you understand that iLvL restrictions have no sense? Population of PvP is pretty much lower rather than this from module 3. Anyway iLvL flag is idiotic because truely shboons and mount grants absurdal stats which making this game unbalanced in PvP. Peoples wanna to say about balance but where is logic to deliver 20k in stat by mounts, shboons?

    I don't understand what is unbalanced. I just finished a match as a 2.4K MI scoundrel in a 60-69 lvl PUG with very well geared team mates (got lucky). We got owned, no.... dominated by a cleric with battlescarred gear, no gemmed shirt or pants, all rank 7 enchants and epic arts. Using a greater fire for the weapon enchant and a loamweave for the armor. That is obviously MUCH better than my trans vorpal, all rank 10 vicious enchants, double slotted rings, double slotted belt, battlefield armor, trans negation and legendary arts. The DC flat owned me.. toe to toe it would destroy me ???? the others on the opposing team were (pali, GF, SW and TR) were fightable but the DC was just a steam roller. I think this is WAI for sure.. there seams nothing wrong here.. of course I am being silly in saying this.

    I have played this game long enough to know that it is a pretty way to waste time and no part of PVP should be taken seriously. Fact is matchmaking won't work now because people will complain because of the long waits in queue (would have worked from the start.. would have kept many people interested), balancing wont work because you would end up upsetting tons of people who play PVP and PVE and thus possible reduce the already diminishing player base (which is why the queue times would be long in matchmaking). The moral of the story is that we are too late to salvage the current system without great consequences to cryptic's bottom line. And that my friends is what matters most.

    Also, has anyone else noticed the number of coupons we get from invoking since the coal ward skrewing? hmmm.. cash flow down?

    And to the topic idk what to say,terribly useless matchmaking but devs dont care...maybe after X mods when noone will pvp it will get on their radar,when gaps between players and classes will be even bigger and there will be more broken stuff to abuse.

    Our guild had some discussion yesterday about PVP Queues that were based on item level brackets. There are probably a few more factors to consider than purely the gear factor. There could be some incredibly complex adjustments made considering: 1) class features, 2) race features, 3) powers and features levels, ... etc.

    Another consideration needs to be physical connection into the game - this being a rating of the hardware and internet connection for responsiveness. I know I've got a lower tech box and internet is weaker - PVP is not enjoyable. Simply being in a party introduces lag on my side. Anything more than 3 people and I'm struggling every moment to guess where I'll be given the commands lagging to be delivered. Truthfully there's a lot of skill trying to eek by with a low-end box and connection... skill that those with faster worry-free boxes and connections really won't comprehend unless they've gone through the ascension from lesser personally.

    BRACKETED PVP QUEUES

    Bottom line there needs to be about 10 brackets created that bring all the factors for each participant into a team level bracket. The interesting thing about this is that people could create a party with vastly different individual factors and find play might be fairly equalized - if the one team had a power player that would net them higher and the lower players in the team would struggle against the average stats they were pitted up against. This means the power player really has to carry the lower factored team members as they improve.

    It might be possible to opt for next higher bracket to pit the team against what would likely be a tougher team. While in a PVP match it would be nice to let the team know which level bracket they made it into. Then they could adjust items and swap people to find higher bracket standing.

    make it 8/8 i will say it once more again justice tree critical build can be striker.

    not sure but did anyone else recognize, there is near no feedback in PVP section
    10 posts a week, lol
    this indicates near no interest from player base in this kind of game and this kind of PVP at all
    so imo you can shut down this forumsection, it doesn´t matter any more :)

    Type "o" use find person. Search "rivenscar" hit lvl button so it brings all lvl 70s to the top. Do same with "hotenow domination". Count the number of players and divide by 10. Usually 4 instances total at the most. Thats why you run into people that are geared like that when youre nowhere near their lvl. Nevermind the endless discussions we've had about the fact that they hardly ever queue solo even when they are that geared and they know that theres only a few people on. They know its only a few teams rolling around with poor noob guildies mixed in that are out just trying to get shards for their stronghold. And then they come to the forums to make delusional posts about wanting a premade queue. So good luck op, hope you enjoy the dungeons part of the game.

    Type "o" use find person. Search "rivenscar" hit lvl button so it brings all lvl 70s to the top. Do same with "hotenow domination". Count the number of players and divide by 10. Usually 4 instances total at the most. Thats why you run into people that are geared like that when youre nowhere near their lvl.     can´t say to whom this is addressed, but I would recommend to press L , look up for ranking and press on "wins".
    There you find your player with the most absurd K/D ratio like 11600/374 or 8700/550 and win/lose ratio, to whom this has to be addressed I would say.
    Not that I want to defend anyone, whoever this maybe.

    PvP population is so low because ilvl2.5K and below just get roflstomped. There is zero fun in that (been on giving and receiving end) so most people just don't queue. If we don't start finding ways around this, the population will only continue to fall.

    If brackets are implemented, population will go up. Get them hooked. Then, incentivize people to jump up tiers through QOL or appearance improvements. Titles, costumes, mount appearances, ladder ratings, whatever. Nothing that adds power creep.

    Healthier for the game, and healthier for Cryptic's wallets.

    I also understand ilvl is not end all be all to balance. There is absurd power creep through mounts, boons, upcoming insignias, Underdark rings etc, but an ilvl bracket would be a good START to foster an environment where we get new blood to PvP.

    rather than a simple item score bracketing system.....make it some combo of tenacity and total stats. then you cant get away with 20k free stats from stronghold and mounts.

    Why cant they just group people of similar gear score to fight each other, instead of throwing in someone with more then double your gear score. It just does not make any sense, unless you just want to feed the ego of that high gear score player, in order to encourage him to buy more goodies from the cash shop.
