Five Rank Fives? Overflow Rewards have to be changed.

After doing every quest I had time to do the last couple of days to get an XP reward, I open it and get 5 whole rank 5s. I can get 6 Rank 5s just by running 5 SH heroics and the kill enemies quest. This is totally imbalanced. If I can't have a power point, can I at least get 5 Rank 7s?

    Well, there're probably several posts in the feedback thread asking for improvements in the overflow/XP department, but with no real answers to it over several months.

    As mentioned before, the power point should be part of any overflow now, up to the point where you have reached the max. number of power points you can have.
    Add to that some random chunk of rAD and a random number of rank 7 enchantments, and we have something worthy being called a reward.

    And they should really improve those XP/companion tomes you get from the overflow...
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    So true, I have a character that has been 70 since November, and still only 75 power points. :'(

    I honestly don't care about the specific rewards, just be happy you get something. There was once a day you got zip. They could bring back those days again.

    ... and there were days, when you could reach the overflow fast and got a Power Point pretty regular.

    this thing has become the main source of frustration in this game (for me).
    i like many aspects of the game, but the overflow rewards make me feel, like its a complete waste of my time to play the lvl 70 toons.

    6 misses in a row on seperate toons during double xp weekend. today, i leveled and missed the powerpoint, using the xp scroll from the free maze claim for instantly levelling up again, and getting 3 rank 5 enchantments as reward. no powerpoint again.

    and this is happening for months now. i like playing many toons, and im getting a powerpoint from time to time, but the overall feeling is, that its still not worth my time anymore or worth spending my money for the game.

    im not stingy and gladly pay for a hobby. but it makes me stop, when im getting the feeling, that the company is fooling the players on purpose. and thats obviously happening here, there is no reason, why people shouldnt get the powerpoint for every levelup, because it takes quite some time to reach that point. STO grants a specialisation point for every levelup too.

    idk, whos idea that was, but maybe he should just get a 40% chance for getting his monthly income to get the feeling, how its like, when people waste someones time on purpose

    I feel your pain. I got 10 green tomes of companion experience and 5 green tomes of experience from my last overflow reward. Oh boy...

    I don't get a power point each time... okay, that sucks, but don't insult me with complete garbage.

    Green tomes of experience is better than 5 R5 in last weekend when there was char slot sales and 2xXP.
    My freshly new character was ready to do profession when he stepped into PE and had access to that 5 tomes. :)

    My last 3 rewards were: 2 x 5R5 and 1 x Tomes. :(

    ... same here, R5s and tomes in the latest overflows, with 1 Power Point in between, but of course on a character i hardly play, and i still have to get the Maze Pack on 10 other characters.
    Ohhh, what a joy... probably going to be "rewarded" with even more R5s and tomes now. :(

    Every time a player gets R5's as a reward, a Cryptic employee gets a cash bonus. Probably.
    Definitely not an Arc User.

    I got a Power Point from every level up after 70, 6 times in row that is, so there are 6 level 4 powers on my only level 70 character now. I even got a Power Point from the maze engine gift "1 level up above level 60" to be claimed from the rewards agent in PE.

    So I do hate the junk "rewards"

    But in all fairness I get more power points than I need and have received 30K Raw AD a lot

    So all and all it evens out

    Would I like all great rewards... Yes

    But

    Some days chicken

    Some days feathers

    Anddddd from the XP scroll your reward is.......... drum-roll........ companion experience tomes....
    Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost"

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    So I traded some Power Point luck for Celestial luck, got some Power Points. But those Celestial boxes, whooo. Still usefull stuff inside, greenies and some blues. I hope that deal with Zee doesn't last forever. And as they say: If you want a smile from Lady Luck, you have to keep trying on her attention.

    the point is, that another overflow lvl up should be something, to look forward to and being excited, not worried, that it will cause just further frustration.
    after the last weekend and 4 or 5 misses in a row, i caught me to not even want to turn in quests with my other toons, when i was about to hit the levelup.
    im sure, that it may even out over time, but the current mechanic is a completely unnecessary source of frustration for the players

    My OP got 5 r5 and ............................. a Power point last night. Yippy after probably 5 overflow award.
