OP Paladin & New Artifact Weapons.

I've been thinking since the Underdark Artifact Weapons dropped on PC on which ones a OP Pally should use. Let's take a look at the 2 piece set bonuses...

Howling: When we block we gain 50% Run Speed for 2 seconds every 10 seconds.
PvE: Underdark PvE...Run Speed is sort of-kind of important so you can get cleansed in the blue circle or get to the portals to close them faster. So, at least it will do something, minimal, but something.
PvP: Sometimes you get blown off the node and getting yourself back on it a bit faster (if the RNG gods are on yourside with the proc ) can make the difference between losing and keeping a cap. Also, using block for run speed when getting from node to node can help. Minimal to Moderate helpfulness at best.

Burning: Chance to instantly restore 25% AP when using a daily.
PvE: Spam bubble with the correct build. Highly helpful, but may be overkill if you have enough recovery and the snail.
PvP: Spam bubble with the best build. Highly helpful, but may be overkill if you have enough recovery and the snail, but then you can unstack recovery and stack more beneficial stats.

Drowned: When struck you heal for 50% of your HP over 30 seconds every 60 seconds.
PvE/PvP: Useless with the correct build. You don't even lose HP and if you do you're blowing yourself up for 500k.

Earthen: When standing still....oh nevermind that's useless.

Honestly, the Burning is the "best" choice for PvE and PvP since you can spam any daily you want at length. Is it really needed? No. If you guys want the build that gives you too much AP let me know and I'll write it out for you. If you can't get a snail get thee Burning. If you already have a snail, I don't see any of these weapons being "worth" it for the time needed to get them is not "worth" the minor gains. Op is just too OP for these weapons to truly matter.

Here is that build in action. Video As you can see at the end of the video that even naked, with just my weapon on, this build makes you take 0 damage.

What do you think of the twisted set? I am holding off on trying to refine it. I'm not sold on it for all the effort it would take.

What are opinions on this with the current state of Paladin and the bubble nerf?

I think the Burning set still is pretty solid, but atm it's easier to get the Twisted set, tbh, also it gives you a lot more defense, which you will need coz Divine Protector gives less DR now. If you've been working on motes for a while or just have enough AD to buy the Burning instantly, I would go for it, if not, then the Twisted would be the way to go. Also depends on your Defense stat, remember, you're building a tank, so you'll need a really good Defense.

And the other sets aren't as useful imo, you still aim to not lose any HP so there's no reason for Drowned to proc, the movement of Howling is kinda useless if you have some Darks in Utility and/or the insignias that give you movement (or maybe even the Feats in Justice), as for the Earthen, I don't even remember, lol, I think it works like a Lesser Neg (but only if you stand still for idk how long)? Spending that much money and/or time for the motes or the Pack ain't even worth it just to get that.
