Getting an error

Upon trying to start the game, the launcher crashes and gives this error:

"Fatal Error: JavaScript exception: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token"

Does anyone know what this could be?

    Neverwinter launcher crashes whenever i try to log into my accounts please help.

    Me also, mine said something about Java script so I made sure I had the latest version of it but it still crashes.

    I am getting the same error. I was able to log in a few hours ago, and now I am unable.

    UPDATE: I submitted a support ticket and they responded in a very timely manner. They are aware of the issue and investigating. In the meantime, I was able to log in as rachshaza said, just double click the Neverwinter EXE file in your hard drive.

    Same thing here, right after a launcher update.

    ok, so finding the executable on your HD and launching straight from Neverwinter.exe seems to have bypassed the issue. Although I'm patching since I tried uninstalling and reinstalling first so we'll see.

    I get the same error and it is not the PC, I have tried to log in on 2 different computers and get the same error on both. Have sent a support ticket so now will have to wait

    Same here after Arc ran a mini update and cannot get in, if i try launching the client as Admin looks like it will connect and than says can't connect to the server. Getting PO'd as i am gonna loose my Key. Never had this issue before.

    same error... just after a update of the launcher ... any solution ... pls

    edit : it's not the pc ... i have the same error on 2 pc ... ...

    Yup, have this issue too, and the workaround works.

    Default install;
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Neverwinter_en\Neverwinter.exe"

    Go to your program files and run it from there

    I download the launcher upgrade round 6 am GMT, and its solve my prob.

    The Neverwinter launcher starts patching like normal until it reaches a percentage usually between 70% and 90% where the percentage freezes. It says for example, "Patched 22.5MB / 31 MB" and under that, steadily climbing, " Recieved 193.8MB - 72.2%". This is infuriating because you can see that it is receiving loads but it has stopped patching the game.
    Pls help if you guys have any tips?
