Is it just me or did the frequency of Heroic Encounters in the 4 areas associated with this quest just drop drastically? I swear while i was lvling from 60 to 70 that HE's were almost always there and constantly revolving. Now since we have to have motes obtained from them they are nearly gone. Seriously PW whats up with that? I have a theory that since the chance of a Mote is very low on normal HE's that people will look into purchasing the Wands that give us 100% chance for any lvl HE from the trade bar store. Since the wands only have 4 charges, and 30 minutes to a charge and HE's are extremely slowed. Are you trying to force us to buy more keys from the zen store to obtain more trade bars to get multiple wands? Is this yet ANOTHER CASH GRAB?
I gotta tell you one thing PW... Whoever is in your "think tank" of ways to make money or make the players happy to spend more money... EPIC FAIL... they are killing your business... This is not the way to get console gamers to rally behind you.

It took me 3 wands (12 charges) to get my 100 motes. Not that difficult.
I'm having a problem with these quests. When I accept them from the person at the tree they show the rewards for my class but when they are in the journal they show a control wizards rewards not the great weapon fighters rewards.
Anyone had this yet? Am I okay to grind these and get correct rewards or wait on a fix?

It's even worse with big ones like Feed the Fire, where someone will run in alone, trigger it, fail it - and then it's gone for the next 20min.

I hunt GWF "Magik" on sight.
* Getting an awakened heart scores you both the primary and the off-hand item. You only need to do this once.
* Only one heroic in each area guarantees a mote (the 15 person one), so that should always be your target. I’ve never seen a demonic HE in any of these areas.
* Roughly speaking 5-man HE = 20%, 10 man HE = 40%, 15 man = 100%. In the water area the 100% chance HE is the crab one, in the fire area it’s Feeding the fire, in earth it’s the summoning portals and in air it’s the big battle to the left of the main camp.
* You can be in an Xbox party with someone, but you need to queue for instances solo to make you easy to invite. Once you’re in an HE you can invite your buddies.
* Some times of the day there seems to be not enough people to effectively farm the bigger HEs, other times 19 out of the 20 instances will all be full. Try to aim someplace in the middle.
* Have zone chat on – if/when someone calls an instance number, try to move there. If the instance is greyed out, either PM whomever is shouting out the instance number to ask for an invite, or just broadcast a general “want to do {HE name} in {instance number}, please!”
* Once you’re in one, invite other people. In zone chat say something like: “{HE name} is up on me. Invite me to your party if you need access to the instance”. This helps them out and gets help to beat the HE, but if you do it enough people will start to recognize you and help you out in return. Once someone is in the same instance as you, remove them from your party and invite another.
* Once you finish the ‘main’ HE, feel free to head to any other HE that’s up in the zone to try for a bonus mote while you’re waiting for an invite to another instance. But if the chance is there to go to a 100% mote chance HE, move there as soon as you can.
* You might like to do something to make your invite request stand out. Don’t spam (it’s annoying), but feel free to pop out a smiley face or something.
In my case the 100% HE was ‘FF’, Feeding the Fire. Normally, just after FF finished, there was an Emberclaw ready to fight. So my plan was go to FF, throw out an request for a new FF instance, fight Emberclaw while I wait. Emberclaw only had 30-40% chance of dropping a mote – but I got a few bonus motes while I waited.
