Azure Who is it Good For?

This may sound Dumb:

But I was wanting an opinion from the general players on what class the Azure enhancement stone’s best suited for?
I finally broke down and got a rank 12 form the AH for my GWF and now I have a Rank 11 Azure and I really do not know which of my other toons it would best suited for. I am getting burnt out by all the refining I had to do to get my GWF slotted with all rank 11 stones now.
I have 1 of each class and I am just now trying to understand the mechanics of my GWF let alone the rest of my clan.
Any help Please?

    As others have said, they are good for just about any class that needs/wants high crit. I don't think one 11/12 azure on a toon will make enough difference by itself, however. They do sell well on the AH--and you can use those diamonds for an enchant that will be more helpful for whatever toon you want to put it on.

    I've never tried them for defense.

    My 3 main players now are:
    1.) GWF High Crit Build ( this is wheir it came from)
    2.) TR Whisperknife Sabator
    And the baby of the family
    3.) Bulwark Pally Build
    What about useing it Him? Is their any advantages or dis advantages?

    Any class that you will level in the future can use this enchantment since in the Utility slot it will give you 20% more experience (rank 12).

    How does one over-crit?

    It's only good for GWF for offense. Pretty much every other classes wants brutals offensively

    id use azure in cw and sw for high crit build, dont really like the lower crit brutal gives, it does give power and crit but hey if go crit build why power with power in offence slots you got a companion for it...

    I am a GF and I really like it in the offensive slot

    So, I think it is good for me

    It's easy to cap out crit with a CW. We have charisma as a main stat, and you get 18% from feats if you are renegade and there's a capstone that can give 30%.

    The game is about stat balance not stacking the highest number of stats. In most cases Azure will out perform Brutal. Only the super high stat geared crit monsters really need to worry about brutal as Azure will out perform Brutal until you reach 100% crit chance if your crit severity is greater than 100%. Savage can be good for PVP builds but is useless on most PVE build for offense since many endgamers can stack enough armor pen off of equipment alone. Especially if they are crit builds since crit and armor pen are normally put together on most artifacts and equipment.

    I think by over-crit he's implying that you stack more critical chance than is optimal for your crit severity. There is a balance between the two and plenty of calculators on the web to decide where that balance is. Make sure you use a mod 6+ calculator though, the balance was different pre-mod 6

    For glass cannon GWFs, for tanky GWFs HP out performers defense because higher pool of hitpoints provides more temp hp. But yes, depending on your design Azure can be useful for GWF defense slots.

    That rank 12 azure would be best used if you...mailed it to me :wink:
    Kind of crazy to spend all that AD on the AH for something then wonder what it's good for.

    For GWF, I'd slap that puppy in an offense slot. Dragon enchants give hp,def,ls and are cheap. I'd put that in the def slot.
    More crits will fill up that determination bar faster, so you can go god mode more often.
    I think unstoppable will save you more then some extra def will.
