This is scheduled to be the free gift for today. I'm not seeing it, nor do I see a Zen paid version. Also, checked the claims agent just to be safe.

Does Xbox even have Courtesan Fashion?

If you got it during a previous event (Protector's Jubilee iirc?) then it isn't free now.

I checked on another account that didn't get it then, and it shows up as free on that.

Probably/hopefully another mistake, or just that someone hasn't thought this all the way through?

Confirmed. If you previously obtained one for any character on the account, the free option does not show up. It does show up if you have not.

Still wondering why I didn't see the paid version earlier. It's there now, but not listed in the same order as the other account. It is at the bottom as opposed to alphabetical like the other stuff.

This simply isn't fair. Why should we be punished for getting it for free the first time it was offered? I would like to be able to get it with my other character.

I agree with all of this too. Just the other day my family were all sitting around opening presents and I got a shirt from my mom. It was green! I hate green so I threw it at her and told her that getting me a green shirt was a slap in the face! Then I opens a gift from my grandmother and it was a pen and pencil set. I already have a pen and pencil set so I threw it at her and told her what I thought of her horrible gift.
I mean, don't these people know that I deserve more than this? What were they thinking by trying to be nice and give me a gift.
My family is a bunch of jerks.

I think your all just crying a bit too much lately. I've been with the game since day one. I have stuff that's being given out. But it's being given for free so... who cares?

... and I've been with the game since well before Xbox Day 1.

I care because it is another example of the ineptitude of the company. I don't care about the fashion. I don't care that it was free. I didn't even realize that I had claimed it during a previous promotion. I've been claiming the holiday promo items on a new character (a few weeks old).

I care that it was advertised to be a promotional item with no mention of any exclusions. The item should either have had an exclusion mentioned in the promo (Once per account, if previously claimed in any event you will not be able to claim this) or it should have been claimable by a different character than the one that previously claimed it. That's it.

That's nice and all, but at least your family gave you a gift! Listen to what happened to MY family. For two weeks, every day my sweet grandmother would call to tell me she had an amazing Christmas gift just for me. I was so excited, because she always gives the best gifts! So, as we do, we gathered on Christmas day. All the family was there. I sat down in the carpeted floor, leaned back with the biggest smile on my face and I was ready. I looked up into the loving eyes of my sweet Grandmother in her soft comfy chair. And then it happened. She didn't say a word. She just stared at me. I kept looking at her, but... nothing. This went on for minutes and my family members were staring at her too. Then the reality set in. My Grandmother had no gift for me. She had not gift for anyone else in the room either. She lied to not only me, but to all of us. All of us. And she didn't care. She acted like she didn't even know me. Or my mother or father or anyone in the room. Was she ill? Was she playing a joke?

The funny thing about that (well, actually far from funny) is that you could claim the Winter Wolf even if you had it from earlier, if you just discarded it from your inventory...
And yes, it was under the free tab just like the Courtesan should have been...

I'm aware that mounts are treated differently by the game btw, but regarding the Courtesan Wear, I think they had no idea that it wouldn't be claimable, and just don't want to do all the work to fix it now that they know...

*And from reading what support says to previous posters, it sure looks that way*

I just want to know why can't I get something that's being advertised and pretty much this was the best thing you can get out of the claims from this event. The starlight parcels are a joke

Not to derail my own thread, but I cannot agree with that. Even if you only get one retraining token (since these are unbound, like in the old days) that makes those parcels good (I have 12 so far and look forward to experimenting). Everything else is just gravy. I've done OK. A metal lobster purple mount and 2 Battlefield Medics and other assorted green and purple companions and the best rewards begin for those last 2 parcels on Wed and Thurs # 21 and #22. Of course, unless you bought some and are already over the 20 threshold.

Do not open the gift at the Winter Festival, it scales down the level of the equipment to 60-61, so if you're 70 open them somewhere else...

Even if you are less than 70, open them somewhere else. The Guild Stronghold. It will raise all the unidentified items to 70.

I looked on my main last night which has the courtesan fashion from the past, and its bound to account. I never use it on that character so l'll be moving to the character that i want it on.

I still think it should have been available to everyone again, but i wanted to provide this information to anyone that is in the same situation as myself.
