I hope vanity prices remain an extremely low priority for them. Unless they alter their business model to be "pay to look really cool", there's really nothing to look at here. There are much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much^30 more important things for them to address.
You can think of feat respec prices as putting a fixed constraint on how expensive zen can get--though not a complete one, since there are many more uses for zen beyond retraining tokens. I wouldn't mind those getting cheaper, but there are more serious issues to address first. If anything, I would rather they add retraining tokens as rewards to more event contents. Give us a way to grind them up that doesn't (immediately) feel like a large opportunity cost on our AD.

lol what's there to address and think about!? Just CUT transmute costs. We're not talking about the laws of physics here.
... But seriously, why are the prices for companions and mount upgrades and other stuff still the same as before, while our AD income is reduced seriously? ...
After the leadership nerf I thought they would cut all costs too, but Cryptic looks at it another way - the zen shop prices seem to be set in stone and are the upper limit for cost reductions.
Because they didn't reduce cost of their zen-shop items and because they want their zen-shop companions, mounts, ... to be the most attractive ones (cost wise), they are reluctant to drastically reduce AD-prices on companions and mounts (ignoring the fact a zen-mount is more attractive because it's for account and ignoring the fact the AD:zen is not 500 anymore).
After putting fashion sets in the tarmalude trade bar shop, I could imagine a price reduction in transmutation costs in the near future.

Thanks for all the fish.
All prices need a review. The problem is, they THINK that if they keep the prices high, those with billions of AD will just keep spending - as if they didn't notice the changes to their income.
Transmutes are probably the most disturbing. The price is way to high for gear that changes every mod and essentially you force your players to wear mixed up gear that doesnt go together instead of making a good fashion statement. Doesnt sound like a huge deal, but armor visuals are usually a HUGE draw to a game...wouldnt you rather your players look good?

The transmutes.. well it's been said in about 500 threads over the last 4 months and so far, nothing changed. I don't think they consider vanity items to be taken seriously. Otherwise there would be an entirely different zen store.
It just shows that the people making the decisions have no fracking clue.

50k post leadership is really high.
