Hello if you had a broken mailbox in which you could not open and click on and that would mean you couldn't buy and thing that would be sent to your mailbox. what would you do ?

I'm not going to assume anything here, so forgive me for being captain obvious, but I have no idea what your level of knowledge is/how long you've been playing the game. and sometimes with a game like this it is a simple thing that is causing the problems. so if you know all this already, sorry and never mind but in case you don't.

you do know you have to find an actual mailbox or have a vip on demand mailbox. you cannot access your mail thru the mail tab. that's just for reading purposes.
your inventory cannot be full or it will not let you take things.

Yes an actual walkthrough of the steps you try would highlight any user side issues.

E.g. "if I want to collect an item from my mailbox I first click..."

Don't leave anything out. Say what feedback messages you get and check the chat box on lower left for system messages in case it doesn't show up in the middle of your screen.

Does is work on a different character? If so, sell/salvage everything - pass over AD, Gold & anything else of value to new character via bank / AD exchange and delete it.

If it doesn't I'd just delete the account. If they don't fix something in two weeks then they aren't going to fix it.

It must be an account wide issue then. I'm afraid you'll probably need to bite the bullet, delete your account and start from scratch. Transfer all valuables to your brother.

An idea for avoiding a suspension on transferring your AD, buy zen, buy companions from Zen Market as they are not bound, move the companions and any gold etc to your brother by Trade window - make new account and move it back to yourself.

You then have the option of either selling or using the companion(s).

I would suggest buying stuff from the AH but that would mean receiving it in the mail

It may be worth setting up the new account and checking the mailbox before deleting the old one just to be sure. Do it during Double AD (this week) and salvage all your current gear for extra AD. Remember the daily refinement limit.

Edit: it's double Experience too so now is the perfect time for getting to L70 fast. Oh and do it all on a completely new gamertag of course.

And wait for a "% off" voucher before buying companions to maximise value.

wow didn't you sell up and move the AD? All you had to do was have your brother post something pointless for the amount of AD you had then you buy it - he gets all your AD. Then reverse this process on your new account to get the AD on to your new character...

I cant say I have this same issue but something similar. When I buy a lot of items off the trade house and my mailbox gets backloogged like crazy, I will completely lag out and the game will drop to like maybe 5 fps at best until I take out the items from the mail messages and actually delete the mail. Even with the mail having no items attached, it would still lag me out entirely. It may not be the same issue for you and hopefully it can be fixed for you, but this is probably as close to the issue I have experienced myself personally.
