are the old zones (dread ring shar, icewind) playable now?

back in may i reinstalled NW only to find my lvl 60 toons had been forced out of these zones that i used to play daily for more than half a year, the question is has the game been Fixed now i.e. can now enter and play these zones with the gear and boons i spent more than half a year earning? or are they still for level 70's and all new gear?

You'd want to grind new gear. If you had pretty good gear before you left, it will help you work for new gear. But you'd definitely want to update.
I'd highly recommend running through the Elemental Evil zones to level up to 70. I think they have the campaign zones closed to those under 70 at this time. It has changed back and forth since April.0 -

Not a chance at level 60, you will be stomped. They are end game zones now, and 60 is no longer end game. You will need to level and you will need to regear. Your old gear is about as useful as level 50 gear would of been in old level 60 dungeons.0
