The New Rings: What is the chance to get them?

Is it the same regardless of how well the group does in the skirmish (copper, silver, gold)?
Do you need to achieve gold result in order to have the chance to get a +5 Ring?
I don't understand how it all works?

    As far as I can tell the only difference is that gold (even if it's +1 99.9% of the time) always gets a ring whereas silver has a chance to not drop a ring.

    Did 300 e Demo runs. No legendary ring. Seems they got a drop chance nearly 0%.

    Based on the drop rate I have seen around me it seems like around 1 in 150 runs (and yes empirical data means jack ****, just giving my experience). It feels the same way as those lockboxes opening up hundreds and never seeing a mount. The thing that annoys me the most is that even if you’re so lucky to see a +5 ring it might not even be the one you want.

    I would be nice if they made some changes:

    Either:
    Having a vendor so you can change a legendary ring for a different one, so you’re not forced to do the same content over and over again because you want that specific ring. (we can change up content and still have a chance to get the ring we want)
    Or:
    Having a vendor so we can buy a +5 for 18.000 faerzness (thats the cap) or trade 10x +4 of a specific type to get the +5 version of it.
    Or:
    Increase the drop rate just a little bit.
    Or:
    Make them BOE and let the free market figure it out.

    I don’t have hope for any of these I doubt they change anything but I am starting to feel like that saying: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result”.

    All above are great ways to help us earn what we want w/o spending our lifes farming - begging RNG to pop.

    I spent my whole day off yesterday trying to farm PoM so I guess I'm insane.

    Nothing better than a +3 :|

    Not sure why this issue isn't getting much traction. The rings were one of the few things about Underdark that had me interested in doing the skirmishes/raid and you can't get them ...

    I don't understand the desire for these rings anyway. I have 2 +4 rings and I run Epic Demogorgon MAYBE a couple times in a day. Many days I don't even bother and when I do, we don't get gold because I only PUG. I fail to see a meaningful distinction between +4 and +5. What's the big deal?

    i gave up, all i do is influence and a couple of elol
    im pretending underdark doesnt exist..its pretty easy when there is no underdark

    2Slots

    Two slots of the same type even. So if you're say getting the +5 crit ring all the stacks add more crit AND you have two offensive slots.

    Legendary rings could be purchasable with Twisted Ichor. Is it that difficult to add them to the vendor in Mantol-Derith?

    Yup, pretty much. I just pretend the skirmishes don't even exist. I'm just getting faezress and ichor from doing demon HE runs in Well of Dragons. It's impossible to get Gold in a pick up group because there's always someone that can't figure out what they're supposed to do and they run the monsters everywhere but at the doors, throne and yellow spot on wall. It's very frustrating. I can complete 2 or 3 encounters in WoD in the same time as a bronze Prophecy of Madness run, I don't have to use a key and I stock up on rings that I can sell for AD.

    I was also expecting a full size area like Icewind Dale with this release and we didn't get it. So I'm going to get my boons and upgrade my gear while waiting to see what they fill it with over the next 2 mods. I'm hoping they've got something special planned that will make up for 2 empty mods in a row (7 and 8) and one very disappointing one that drove off half the player base (6).

    Oh, so it's just more complaining about not being lucky enough to get BIS items. Got it.

    It's totally possible to get gold on PUG runs. I do it all the time. At least this campaign actually nets you stuff that generates AD for your time in most cases.

    Is there a better chance to get these rings in demo vs the skirms?
    Does PoM give better chest rewards then Dwarven God? edemo vs demo?

    I see alot of people talk about PoM but few talk about Dwarven Gods.

    I don't think people have an idea as to the sheer amount of time it will take to get these rings : |

    Throne only drops defensive rings too. Although it has the repel ring so I guess all the PvPers are grinding it.

    PoM drops the crit ring and the anti-stealth ring so it'll probably still be run more than throne even when they fix throne.
