wk-saboteur dilemma

Hi guys.
first of all - excuse my english, it's not my native. :)
To give you full picture:
Character -

rank 7 stones, holy avenger, greater frostburn, 1 tenebrous.

Boons (red squares - if i'd be able to take all of them)

Companions - will-o-wisp, wererat thief, ioun(allure), neverember's guard, skeleton dog. (last 3 i'm gonna change for - cantankerous mage, blacksmith, aranea/lightfoot thief).
i think to get valindra set (pvp flag replaces with crown), drowned weapons, drowcraft shirt+pants.
Feats -
right now, i use VP sometimes,
seems good for HK, lurker and WoB
more...pvp-version
Powers -
dazing, SB, SS. passive-Oppr.Dark + Adv.Pos., at-wills sly+DhS (HK + WoB)
blitz-SB-SS, same passive, CoS+DhS. (stealth-1 DhS for most nasty npc - SB - DhS, 1 for others, 2-3 sly/CoS - SS - stealth - blitz-CoS (sly, if blitz change for dazing). repeat. nothing smart, but works)
For party - blitz/dazing changes for WR, WoB for CB.
Most of PvE (excepr IWD and epic dungeons) i can do solo quite comfortable, build seems... not bad, at least.
But.
To get myself some gear to sell, to participate in SH HE/eCC/eLol/eToS - well, i need a party.
But now comes a question, which i cannot answer - Does a party needs me?

There's an opinion that "paingiver chart" is only important.
there's an opinion that "no r12 vorpal + Lostmauth set? no DD then"
and there's questions sometimes "where's damage, tr?"

So... since further IL upgrade requires a good amount of money and time, there's a dilemma - Is this build and approach dead end from very start and no party ever need it?
Shall I respec to EXE, get that vorpal +Lost. set, go for crit, and stop myself from getting ideas?
Shall I respec to Scoundrel, since CC looks like the key point of my tr? (though it requires different powers and rotation and... seems to me, saboteur is more... well, flexible.)
Or shall i upgrade to 3.7-4k+ IL, find a constant party and don't bother about pure dps and paingiver chart?

//any ideas how to improve DpS situation, CC, or whole build itself - i'd appreciate very much. Just be aware that i'd tried different approach and it seems that i cannot stop myself from playing with a pool of lifesteal and recovery.

    I think the main problem TR are facing is a result of longstanding bugs and other issues that must be addressed first before we can look deeper. For instance a TR cannot compare with a GWF using lostmauth as (depending on the dungeon/skirmish) the gwf can generate more damage with lostmauth than the TR can from every single source of damage the TR has (including lostmauth). There are just too many longstanding bugs and issues for you to overly concern yourself and I would suggest you do as I did and no longer consider yourself a striker but instead a person playing for fun (although I don't really play anymore except to sometimes log in and help the guild with stronghold stuff). I don't mean to sound foreboding it is just the way things are and have been for awhile and harkens back to the days when the TR was even behind the gf/dc in damage (but isn't that bad at the moment but is outclassed by those that beat them by such an amount as to make it seem bleak).

    In fact, I knew the answer already, just wanted to be sure. :)
    There's other opinion, in fact - in case of low-DpS or low (<3-4k) TIL there's no need to pretend to be "top-DpS", better concentrate on support-role, that's more efficient.
    It's just less common opinion.

    The whole approach and build - it's pretty obvious that exe overdamage saboteur. (even with current condition of SoD)
    So, saboteur is sort of a "useless choice", it can't provide best dps for TR (though it's discussable). Then i shall think of another role for myself - np, i can do that (or i think i can).
    It's just makes me sad to realise the fact(?) non-top-DpS builds for DD classes and art-sets (other than Lostmauth) kinda out of game. Guess we shall wait.

    p.s. i've always thought that "playing for fun" is everyone's choise, isn't it? :)

    Well playing for fun should be and it is the reason everyone initially begins a game but people have a tendency to become obsessive with performance and cause themselves to become miserable quite often. This game has become somewhat cruel in how it pigeonholes players into certain builds/stats/gear and a player looking to be different will often be obviously aware of what their choices have done and often be reminded of this by other players in a less than supportive or encouraging fashion. It is so bad that even ignoring the leaderboards does not hide the fact when your char only managed to remove one-half of an enemies health while the GWF finished off 5 of the same enemy in the same time and is now rushing to dispatch yours.
