I Call this my CC devastator. [Yes, very cool name. No need to point it out. /sarcasm]
This is how it works:
Gain full divinity [takes about 3 seconds]
Cast Divinity break the spirit [Stun lasts a total of 6 seconds upon first cast and does about 6000 damage per cast. Casts can be spammed as fast as button can be pressed]
Cast empowered astral shield that makes you take almost 0 damage on any attack. [Lasts about 15 seconds. Real 5 second cool down]
Cast Geas [Stuns for 3 seconds if a melee user since it forces them to stand. Ranged users however, can still attack you. This is why we cast astral shield just to be safe]
Cast Normal break the spirit [Does up to 20000 damage over time]
Cast the third encounter. To kill quickest use daunting light [ About 30k on normal, 90k with Avatar and fully empowered, but at this state of the rotation it wont be possible. the third encounter is based on preference.]
Gather divinity during all the stunning
Cast Divinity break the spirit [Stun lasts three seconds now.]
Cast astral shield for immortality.
Cast break the spirit
Cast third encounter.
You can change geas with sunburst. The knockback saves a little time.
If the person is not dead, then cast geas, repeat, but use daunting light once and break the spirit for the last two stacks of divinity. Then nuke them.
Or you can immediately cast geas to get them to stand still so you can have a chance at hitting them with daunting light.
If the person is not dead yet, attack with astral seal to instantly gain one stack, then cast brand of the sun to keep increasing divinity. Then keep doing this:
astral seal
brand of the sun
Divinity break the spirit
astral seal
brand of the sun
Divinity break the spirit
astral seal
Divinity break the spirit
astral seal
Divinity break the spirit
brand of the sun
etc. . .
If the person is still not dead, your DPS is terrible and never try this again.
This is all based off of the fact that you are an Anointed Champion, and have obtained avatar in the feats.
And your DPS doesn't suck. This is all based off of my LV 65 cleric with 6000 power and 3000 crit

I currently have near 10k power 55% RI and 5.5k crit and the full Burning set. It's good in a 1v1 and depending on the enemies can hold off 2 or 3, dropping them 1 by 1. This ofc depends entirely on who & what you are facing.
At below L70 pvp is a COMPLETELY different game. Once you get over that border you will come across many players with double your item level (you won't be any higher than about 1.8k IL).
With my stats, including reg negation and terror I still consider myself underpowered & won't be happy until I get over 12k power, 60% RI, over 40% crit chance and at least perfect armor and weapon enchantments.
Geas is pointless and sunburst is only for healing clerics that have a spare encounter slot - it does some healing and a little damage but they mostly just use it to push opponents off ledges - lol.
The big problem with daunting light is the non-divine version put a bright red mark on the floor before firing off. Most opponents just dodge before it hits. I know a good Denial DC who uses Chains in that slot for wider area damage but again that's slow. I use divine glow for the self heal and rely on BTS for damage (my weapon also gives extra dmg for lance of faith so I use that plus seal for added heals).

Sunburst is a hasty thing. it charges really quickly and helps fill the hasty meter quickly. this is the build I used for my dc. they talk about it.

although in Tiamat.. pushing the dudes off the ledge is SO satisfying. LOL
Theorycrafting is proposing a build based on the expected interaction of skills and has not fully been tested.
A build is a specific combination of skills. Things like a Hasty Cleric, Bubble Paladin etc. and in the case of this thread CC Devastator.
Don't you find sunburst annoys the hell out of the DPSers in dungeons..? How effective is Bastion of Health as a replacement?
I was thinking of running Astral Shield, Healing Word and BoH - my team usually run cragmire's so we stay fairly close together - I can get them into the habit of 'staying in the circle!' and was thinking that as the adds come to us it'd be useful for the HR/CW/GWF to dps all at once.

here is the reason sunburst is so important. if you hit allies and monsters at the same time it fills up 25% of your action points bastion of health is heal over time with that feat but it isn't 25% action point.
