Does anyone know the requirements for final armament combine?

So, assuming twisted ichor gets fixed tomorrow and it will be time to make a final choice between twisted and SH weapons- does anyone know how viable the final combine will be to get armaments (i.e. if some crazy person has gone though all the steps, what will it cost to feed them components so they can churn out armaments).

As far as I can tell no one in my guild has even gotten to that point... so anyone out there with that information?

While this is not a help right now, I am one bloom away from finding out.

Ok.. got the 12th bloom and turned it in.. AND.. you need to get 12 more blooms and 6 Adamant ingots and deliver them to the Artisan.. so.. thus far I have about $50 in the FIRST 12 Adamant blooms.. now unless I wait for Cryptic to do whatever they are going to do for the Explorer maps, I will need to spend another $50 on the second set of blooms and then get the blooms to make the ingots which are made at a 20% chance(probably another ($20-$50 at current AH prices).. My quest for the SH weapon has just ended.. in fact, my quest to play this game further has just ended.

Thanks so much Cryptic for complete documentation on what to expect on these and other parts of the game.

No one sane is. I'm in a double guild with 300 accounts and from what I can tell *no one* has the combine for armaments. Granted we did not buy an explorer's guild because we needed the boons (another idea that makes no sense, why can't we all have one for new content) but.. if anyone in any guild has these recipes they don't seem to be sharing that information.

I would think that someone in GB has the information. That is who has been flooding the market with the high priced items for the quests. Well now that we can buy a map that will give us 3 random items for 3000 GM, I can spend the next 6 months grinding for GM to buy the maps to get the items to put into the 20% chance machine and watch it laugh at me over and over and over again. I think my next hobby will be cutting myself until I can do so with no pain or maybe building an immunity to a poison.

As a side note, I started back killing the Crab last night only to have them screw that for me with the patch today. Maybe this is God's way of saying a 4k GWF is "good enough".

I actually think there is another task even after the ingot task that mercedesman has too do. I got as far as mercedesman on preview but had to stop because there wasn't any lacquer available. But if it's like jewelcrafting, there is another step.

You use explorer maps to find Gold ore. Then you smelt gold ore at 20% to make Nuggets (this is the same as Adamant Sand to Blooms).

Then you make Gold Ingots with Gold nuggets again at 20% - this is the current step for weaponsmithing mercedesman is at.

I haven't got passed this yet in preview, but there is another task that makes Coins out of Ingots, again at 20%. I don't know what the equivalent task is in weaponsmithing, but I'd bet it's definitely there. You then can probably make rings and stuff with coins (probably at 20% most likely). This level is probably where the armament is made too.

Anyways, my hope is that enough people have surplus guild marks, and that they decide to turn those guild marks into maps, and then sell the items. If the supply is higher than the demand, the prices should drop.

I know I've been sitting at 30k guild marks with nothing really to spend them on. I'll certainly buy maps and then fill back up to 30k with influence and surplus equipment donations.
