Trade house cut needs to be lowered

solbergxsolbergx Member Posts: 654 Arc User
10% is nice when you sell an item at 10,000, you pay 1k and can get a profit, but when you sell big like a normal feytouch enchantment that you craft wich now is around 500,000 AD and you have to pay 50,000 for the sell which its huge and cuts out all the profit from the sell.
I don't want to imagine selling a transcendent item!!

    the profit margin isn't an AH problem. You are actually complaining about what others are putting it up on the AH for...as you could most certainly raise your price to compensate for the AH cut.

    The purpose of the 10% AH cut is AD sink. It would be nice to have it lower, but it may be one of the few things helping the economy to recover from most of the AD in the game being duped.

    Nope the margins built into the tradehouse are fine. What needs to be adressed, and it is(slowly) are the static ad costs and the hoarded AD . The PC economy has too much ad and Zen hoarded for the PWI model to work, applying the same economic to X-box has resulted in the X-box economy collapsing, while not sucking enough add out of the PC market.
    I'm afraid it's been against corporate policy before now but they need to ban people who buy from third party sites, They did a quick purge last month, but a deeper purge needs to be done, BUT they also need to ease the hurt for legitimate players at the same stroke.
    And they are, the conversion of Tradebars to a useable currency is a big step in that.

    All that hoarded ad has to go somewhere. It doesn't just disappear. It also helps reduce people making tons of accounts for ad refining, etc.

    How about a 5% margin on items worth 1000 or under?
    Or none at all in that case.

    Would help the little guy, and I've never seen L4 stacks drop below it.

    Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

    I hate it most when you desperately need to sell an expensive item, and you don't even have enouh ad for the posting fee.
    No idea what my toon is now.

    @solbergx

    If you don't want to pay fees, juste try to trade it for items you will have to buy.
