Confused about respec token

Ok so first off, ive spent about $200 on zen in the time i've been playing this game. Ok, that's established.

So i asked a few people AND checked the neverwinter wiki thats linked up at the top of the screen, and everyone says a respec token is BTA. So i bought the token on my TR but when i log over to my Pally, I cannot use it on him. The button is greyed out. So i got on with live chat and they couldnt do anything from there but were cool enough to create a support ticket for me. I just got the reply that basically apologized that they could not refund any items that were not purchased with zen that wasnt purchased via the microsoft store.

I'm confused about the zen part but that honestly doesnt matter as I don't want a refund, i just want to use the token on my paladin lol.

My question is: ARE the tokens BTA or are they actually BTC? The item view via the store doesnt specify either way. I just want to make sure I'm not barking up the wrong tree before I reply to support to try to clarify (i thought it was pretty clear and concise the first time) that I dont want a refund, I just want to be able to use the BTA token on one of the characters on my account.

Ok but it is only for the character it was purchased through, or does it unlock any character until its used once on any character?

Yep that answers that - thanks. I guess this thread can be closed, or frozen and saved for a midnight snack, or recycled for toilet paper, or sent of to a home for wayward threads. Thanks again for the replies

I want to add one more thing that contributed to the confusion. Long ago on PC (never on Xbox) the token was a physical item that could be moved around. The Wiki seems to still use that information.

Eh, that might be it considering I started playing on PC originally waaaay back at launch.

the moderator for the wiki did not really update those information and most of the info you find over there is mostly the launch version of this game and also up to mod 4 i guess?

Wiki is massively out of date and not very useful imo.
