The Upgrading Icon

in Bug Reports (Xbox One)
After upgrading the upgrade icon is staying on, does not go out. Gets a little confusing, can this be fixed.

    For me it is stuck on because it thinks I have a new 'Special Quest' but there is nothing in there!

    Thank you! I have the same "Special Quest" Icon appearing just like you @marquismarquis. I asked in the other general X-Box forum and everyone said you have you wait until Level 70 and it will disappear and I'll be honest that does not sound right since the icon should not be showing if there is nothing in the Special Quest.

    There are more icon's now and it does get confusing. Its the up arrow that showing all the time. I do not even think I have had any Special Requests since the upgrade. Another matter, but I just wish players would not butt in when we are fighting. Ever find yourself fighting and another player comes along and helps themselves to your exp/loot? I do not mean while in a group, event or fighting the dragons? I am getting so fed with these kind of players and I if I can I am taking names and reporting them for unfair play.

    First, you shouldn't do that. There is nothing unfair about it. This is an MMO you have no right to any mobs. You need to get used to it. It can be annoying. I wanted to reach through the screen at someone when they came to help. I was doing the quest in Reclamation Rock where you need to take damage (500000) I was almost there when they came up and killed the mobs I was letting beat on me. Timer expired before I got to another. Oh, well. I went back, got the timer reset and did it again. All the other player saw was someone being mobbed and taking a lot of damage and they were being nice and trying to help. Of course, at the time, I didn't see it that way.

    Second, you don't lose any loot or XP. Every player gets his share. At worst, you could lose a proc from an enchantment (Dragon Hoard or similar) for not getting the killing blow. Loot and XP are not given based on the killing blow.

    I almost forgot, if you are talking about the icon I think you are, it is telling you that you have a quest turn-in. Nothing to do with an upgrade.

    No this is very much tied to the Special Quest as if you navigate over to that section where the arrow is on the main screen it say Special Quest.

    I got this too, but one of my characters (in addition) has a "New Item" icon, probably from getting the Companion quest. Well, I did all that and have it now, but the icon is still there and won't go away. It's a box with dots coming out of it... I'm sure you know the one. It will not leave! =(

    That is the collections icon. Go into collections and it should go away.
