Mixed PVE and PVP GF build?

I want a build thats both good in pve and pvp. I have enough to respec, i just want a build. Can anyone give me advice?

for gf build that is good for pve n pvp, go for swordmaster paragon and protector tree and dump ur point on con and dex. gf only have shield to block and is not as good as pally as pally able to heal and block only takes 80% damage reduction which makes them vulnerable to HR roots, CW icy knife and TR lashing blade and dex is able to help u def on incoming attack. on ur def node, go for deflect and for artifact go for DC of the sigil, and for ur offense node go for arm pen as gf have the best burst damage and work well with arm pen compare to crits imho and with that u r good to go. let me know how that goes

I have a hybrid build. I survive PVE easily and hold my own in PvP, have been quite happy thus far and it keeps improving as I can afford the next enchant or whatever to progress my stats. I am a cheapskate, I forked over 10 bucks for a month of VIP, I have earned everything with time and patience. I am not OP just smart in mechanics I suppose.

Add my GT and we can talk sometime online, would be much easier than trying to remember everything away from home.

I have a 2.6 ilvl GF and dont follow the swordmaster that seems to be the FOTM for GF's atm as I like my AOE's from Iron Vanguard. If you learn what best suits your style of play and if you are going to be pugging or premade PVE more then you could decide which one best suits you and then use your style, plus the paragon that best suites most of your game play.

Then all you need to do is look at your powers and decide what you will use in PVE/dungeons and PVP and make your build that way.

Yes it can be a pain to switch but having AOE's when pugging (ie frontline surge enforced threat) is great then switching to having anvil and bull charge for PVP works fine. Then its upto you what enchants style of build you have.

interesting...just started playing a gf as i want to get their sigil so when i read about the description of skills, passive power, power, feats and base on my conclusion con and dex gf with swordmaster and protector trees is the hybrid build for pve or pvp. i don't really follow other people build honestly and usually i just find out which trees, skills, feat, power, passive power and paragon suits my playing style.
