No Chat in Game (text) Xbox One.

I have no texting chat for the xbox one version of the game. This just started tonight. I don't know if this is just me or everyone.

    I have the same problem, I have 3 peoples accounts on my XboxOne, and only mine does not display chat any more. I raised a ticket via their website and after a day was told to put it on the forums as they can't help.

    I have reset the XboxOne and even deleted and re-installed the game.

    I have contacted them via Twitter and got ignored, but they do have time to reply to messages from other people asking for a shout out.

    Basically, it looks like a fault that they don't know how to fix, so they are ignoring it and the players.

    Have you guys tried testing it? Like tried typing into the text bar?

    yeah, but those things are everywhere. Just party up with the guy next to you to unlock the heavy populated instances, and go to one. BAM! Problem Solved.

    That's pure guessing. I'd rather see a dragon up announcement and party up with the guy announcing it.

    I have exactly the same problem.
    I have 4 characters on my account and not a single one of them can see the Trade/Zone/LFR etc channels
    I can type into Zone and LFR and this can be seen in the chat on the Instance. (tested by looking at my other Xbox while playing on my account on my xbox).

    I have another account with 2 characters on it and this works perfectly on my xbox.
    I sign into my other xbox and have EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM.
    I have deleted the game and the local saves and reinstalled it, and this did not fix the problem.

    There are no options at all for the written chat channels. When I log in or change zone I get the usual "you have joined /trade... /zone.... /lfr" etc, and I still get those admin messages telling me who got what from a lockbox (really don't care about that).

    This completely negates the MMO aspect of the game, as i cannot see requests for groups, information about events on a particular instance etc.

    Worse thing is, after raising a ticket I get told that there is no support for this and to come along to the forums.
    Not even any response on Twitter, but as soon as somone says "I have a dragon", someone from Neverwinter is quick to reply saying 'Well done, awesome dude' etc.

    I know the game is Free to Play, is that why there is 0 support?

    Check privacy settings on your Xbox profile, that also affects ingame chats.

    I have the same issue. I can see what others are posting but i cannot chat, donate to the guild coffer by hitting 'x' to enter an amout, change my posting price in the trade house or type a name in for a companion or even change my character name. If someone has a solution to this please help. Thank you
