Can't abandon Masquerade quest

Just like the title says, I can't abandon the "Join the Masquerade" quest from the Halloween event. I did not participate in it and the npc you would talk to is long gone. It shows the question mark on my map like he's still there though. Anyone have this problem?

    Yes I got that too and it's annoying. Also got some stupid elemental refining quest that can't be dropped!

    Got the same problem, but I'm on xbox.

    I have the same issue--both quests can't be dropped. I hope we see a moderator with a fix--it's annoying.
