BUG: Guild Bank deposit issue

edited November 2015 in Bug Reports (Xbox One)
As some people already know there is a bug with guild bank vaults because of which guild members sometimes are not able to deposit to their guild banks even though their guild rank is allowing depositing without limits. After some experimentation I was finally able to determine the exact conditions which trigger the bug.

A guild member cannot deposit to guild bank for the rest of the day if two conditions are met:
1) That guild member is allowed to withdraw with a specific daily limit.
2) That guild member's remaining withdrawal limit for today is less than 19.

As a workaround always set withdrawal limits of 19 or more and recommend members to make deposits before withdrawals.

================

Update: The exact repro steps are still inconclusive, we are experimenting to gain a better understanding of the bug.

We got* it to work when our guildie withdrew one item first, then he was able to deposit. I don't think there is a set way to fix it, nor is there a set reason it happens. The guild bank is just bugged.

Hm, I've tried my steps again today and the 19 items threshold no longer works.
But I still see the general rule: if I set item limit to 999,999 the deposits are enabled.
I can then reduce that limit quite significantly to e.g. 99 and the deposits would still be possible for the rest of the day.
I suspect there might be a bug in the way withdrawals and deposits are stored in memory for each guild member and these two variables may interact with each other.

When it happens i'll just up the limit by one and straight back, fixes the issue for a day or two,.

At this point we know that the bug happens with the vaults which have withdrawal limit.
Once your remaining withdrawal count is too low you will no longer be able to deposit.
The exact "too low" amount seems to be different in different cases.
Raising the withdrawal limit for the vault helps but only temporarily.

I'm going to run a few additional experiments later tonight:
    1) See if the "too low" amount is independent across different guild ranks.
    2) See if depositing/withdrawing activity of one account affects other accounts.

In our bank, it's only rank 1-3 that's having issues.
One wierd fact, the ppl with issue can always deposit injurykit's?

No, depositing either works for all depositable items or it doesn't work at all.
But you can only deposit unbound items, injury kits are usually among them.

how do we fix this for members who are not allowed to withdraw? we only allow officers to withdraw from guild bank and many of the regular members trying to deposit run into this issue constantly and can't deposit anything.

@randomdigits#2166 I am not sure about what you said about deposits either working or not.
On the first day I joined, I could deposit freely. I did so and have never withdrawn. Then, on the second day of being a member, I tried to make more deposits and found that only certain items were highlighted as being able to be deposited. At the time, I did not think to verify which types of items I was able to deposit but, it definitely was going to allow SOME things to be deposited and not others. Then, after day 2, NOTHING, was able to be deposited.
Your efforts are truly appreciated, but, before you start banging your head on the wall, it may just be "bugged" with no truly replicable circumstances. (Sad Face)
