Linus favor - need better/more options

I feel that the ToD last 2 boons are extremely difficult to obtain vs. the rest of the boons of the other campaigns. 110 Linus favors? And they only drop from Tiamat IF successful? Or of course, you can turn in coffers like, 100 of them for 1 Linu? And I don't know about anyone else, but I'm lucky if I get 3-5 of them doing dailies in WoD.

I say either increase the drop rate or get "something" (maybe even ONE) from doing Tiamat, even if you fail (it's still like, 30 minutes just for one)?

Or is there an easier way and I missed it?

1,500 for a weekly is bit way too long for 1 linu, we need another way besides those "Failed" Tiamat fights. it is lost cause, and devs dont care.

I am working on one Linus favor at a time. Yes, it is long. I make and donate Dragon Empire treasure. That gives you 200. I try to make one and donate one everyday. The coffer and coins are just extra "bonus". The main one for me is Dragon Empire Treasure. I am almost there to do the 2nd last boon.

So, it is like I get one favor per week. That will take over a year.

If you have alt that is capable to make Dragon Empire Treasure, that can speed that up too. I don't. :(

longer than that, 1,500 pts for 1 linu, if we need 100 linu favors, , then we need 150,000 pts to get. this is going to be "Classic Case" of burnouts.

When I said one year, I referred to one boon only. The boon I am trying to get since I don't remember when. :)

I have been working on this it seems like forever and have completed every task and have managed to beat Tiamat twice and I have exactly 1 linu's favor. We need another way to get this or we are going to burn out way too fast, I am already starting to put WOD off till the very last thing cause it is such a grin. Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated. I am not the type to give up easily but 1 a week for a couple of years, that is too much :-(

I have Dragons Fury on my GWF... and I've pretty much decided that I have better things to do than to grind out the last 80 Linu's for the additional 3% increase in Crit Severity... my OCD hates that I haven't completed it, but whatever. Can't have everything.

Yes, I tried to do Tiamhat, almost won in one but we just ran out of time and if we had maybe 10 more seconds then we could of killed last head however I would like maybe if weekly gave a linu favour and heralds gave so many out - random idea,

My CW alt is just three Linus short of getting the final boon. I've picked up most of them from winning in Tiamat, so it is possible but there is definitely an element of luck involved. There are some steps you can take to help towards getting in on a winning session. These days, I now make it a point of not bothering until the Hoard Reclaim is maxed out, or maybe 95% or better. That way the boons are their highest level which helps quite a bit. Timing can also be important but harder to judge. One method that can work is to pick out a high iLvl player in the crowd waiting to go in and follow him/her in. If there is a delay, you may be in a good run. If you get straight in, probably not.

One thing, the level of uncertainty is part of what keeps Tiamat playable for me. If I knew I was going to win 100% of the time I went in, then it would get really boring really quickly.

I'm more concerned for newer players once the Demogorgon instance becomes active. Will there be enough higher iLevel characters still participating in Tiamat to be effective at earning victories, be they for alts or newer characters? Or, will Tiamat become irrelevant?

People may lose interest in Tiamat when the revised version....er sorry Demogorgon instance appears. However, Tiamat is still going to be the most 'reliable' place to get Dragon's Eggs from :)

Yeah, maybe they will put the gate up on Tiamat also to assure a higher success rate? It just seems a shame so often it fails just because people can't put out enough damage.
