they "suck" because of the endless pvp crybabies that asked to nerf almost all tr powers (and they got what they asked for too) so now u need to be very well geared and have a good rotation too to be able to make a decent dmg as a pve tr. and still you cant come even close to gwf or sw dps.

LOL... you have not run round with good TRs then. I am more then comfortable with my build, rotation and damage. How can that be?
I am a Scoundrel. I do things that other classes cannot do in PvE. In eCC I have rarely been below the top 2 of 'Paingiver'. I do very well in t2's except for eGWD... due to the CC immunity.
That being said... I run with quite a few TRs who have and can usually out DPS an equal SW and GWF in PvE. Then again... I run with a lot of experimental TRs.
Atwil "At" - Tiefling TR / Saardush - Black Dragonborn GWF / White - Tiefling OP
Thing with TR is it's more complex class in my opinion than GWF or CW. You may use same skills, same build, but the person who knows how to play while you don't might outdps you even twice! IMHO the only way to go in PvE is MI Exec, with 5 points in Sabouter tree. You need to know how your feats (especially SoD) works, how to get as much as possible from combat advantage and realize that ~75% of yor dmg is duelist flurry (Lostmouth another 15%). Encounters are for activating SoD or utility. Try test server, run some ACT checks. Then everything is easier. Got a guide, but it's in Polish and I don't have time to translate it ;/

I can out DPS basically all CW, most SW, and GWFs about 50% of the time. Like the quote above, it's all about good rotation, and knowing how to use SoD effectively.
