Like I said, that fix didn't work. I tried that before making this topic.

Oh, ok. I missed reading that part. I got all excited because I thought I knew how to fix it. Unfortunately, it's the weekend, so I won't be able to get ahold of anyone until Monday unless it's an emergency.

Yeah, and since it appears the issue is caused by the banner (I noticed it even has LT/RT buttons if that helps), the issue will likely be gone by the time you're able to get a hold of them.
The new system of having the display of the currently running events scroll rather than all be listed on the top right of the screen, that's what the clicking problem is caused by. I suppose they thought it would be nice to save screen real estate for quests rather than be jumbled by events but now there's the infernal clicking sound that occurs every second when the display attempts to scroll when there's no other event to scroll to. It's an oversight more than a bug but it needs fixing. Immediately.
To fix it, all that is required is to remove the sound effect from the event scroll. Problem solved.
You can get temporary relief using the back button (whatever the "two rectangles" button on this controller is suposed to be called) to highlight the events and then press X to pause/lock the scrolling, but the effect is temporary and resumes if you enter the main menu or enough time passes. You could also just go into Options and turn off the Interface sounds but that's no solution.
It's a very real, extremely annoying problem. Please fix it.
