Question in title. Strictly for PvE purposes.
Background: I can almost move heaven and earth with my AoE so I already outdps anything that is not a GWF. That being said, eLoL is a good example of a dungeon where single target DPS shines, where, sometimes, the occasional BiS PvE TR would oust me paingiver. ECC and EToS is sort of my candy land.
Current build;
Set of archons
27K~ Power
Permalurkers (Snail/SigDiv) to spam crit my Blade Flurries
Low crit, 30% ish
Just enough arpen
Low recovery (coz I BF has no cooldown with the way I use it)
Single target: DF/Lurkers
Encounters: Dazing/Smoke Bomb
Should I maybe dispose of some power for crit? I'm able to stack everything on power because my Blade Flurry rotation practically autocrits and has no cooldown, so I'm hoping to learn something here to up my single target without affecting my AoE in any big way. Cheers!

Dragonflights also require single target DPS (Dragon/Empowerers) so this is pertinent for TRs trying to throw out more hurt to help their guild.
In the example of an elol run, i am going more on debuff enemys and a little bit cc (smoke).
Lets say the first golem in elol, personally i am starting with stealth -> courage breaker then a small bar of stealth is left (even as a non perma mi exe) and then i hit him with a full stack of wicked reminder...meanwhile our dc has debuffed the big guy too, so i hit him with a lashing blade, maybe then you should avoid his aoe attack..and the gwf cw/hr finished him.
The small add groups... yeah standard i would say stealth...smoke...df...goodbye...next please.
Losti himself Lantern artifact....courage breaker (at the beginning later Lurkers if he is lower on hp)...wicked reminder (full stack)...lashing blade (or dazing bc of lower cooldown)....at wills: i am starting with sly flourish (debuff again) and then changing to df.
third encounter: itc bc it saved me many times and it could avoid to be smashed away from a fallen rock, so i don't lose time/dps.
Passivs: Tactic and skillfull infiltrator <-- the speed buff and crit severerity matches better for my playstyle and my choosen compaignons (i am going for more crit sev) and my offhand gives me 5? % more dmg with tactic.
So i am interested if others find that useful or not, i am always willing to learn from other players
greetings
I use WR sometimes but the debuff factor between Wicked and Sly Flourish is definitely something I haven't explored yet, not to any huge extent. This could be my missing piece and I'm eager to try it. I still have blanks for the specifics, like how long's the debuff duration of Wicked Reminder and Broken Armor (of SF). I will have to nail down that rotation also; I know that WR multiprocs lostmauth, and I can autocrit it 3x in a row during Lurkers, but when exactly to fire X power, or what follows X in sequence to max out my SoD is still a bit confusing;
Just off the top of my head, I might go with
A: open Lurkers ~ DF into Stealth ~ stealth depleted ~ wait to refill? Shadow Strike? ~ stealthed WR spam ~ SoD
B: open Lurkers ~ WR spam ~ stealth depleted begin DF ~ stealth into last part of DF ~ SoD
What is the norm crit % that most PvE TRs run with? I'm coming from a longtime PvP background so my stuff is a little unorthodoxed for normal PvE, such as my crit (or the lack thereof).
I start with stealth wr, then lurker assault , 3x df, lurker again , spam wr dazing strike with 0 at wills, the bleeds should be considered in shadow of demise... I hope so.
Sly f. Debuffs should last 6 seconds
(more stuff is welcome too if anyone is happy to share)
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
Though I have refined my build by lowering my power and raising my ArPen and Crit. I raised both of those due to the fact that I am out of stealth more than I am in stealth.
wr does the trick proccing lostmauth 3 times per application. duelist flurry once the bleeds are at max is awful
stopped noticing my dps long time ago just play have fun and do enough dmg to be able finish the quest and most important of all dont die.
@lemonchill I'm an overachiever that way. Finishing T2 is barely a challenge for a good party. But when you get into it Paingiver is quite addicting!
Back in mod 3~4 I already quit this game because I never get picked up from LFG, and when I do, I'm usually kicked right off for being a TR. Carrying a whole decently geared team through a run brings a whole lot of wicked satisfaction. >:P
...I mean the 'deathsalad', not that 'karakla' person...

What lemon said... lol
Stealth>Smoke Bomb(Wicked Reminder if single target)>Lurkers>Lashing Blade>Dazing Strike>Sigil>Flurry (Before the third hit Stealth)[Repeat].

This is just how I play my TR, not sure if its the best method. It's good enough for me
I'll compare this with my current, Lurkers>Stealth>WRWRWRWRWRWRWRWRWRWR spam>SoD>Lurkers>Stealth>WR... the next time I'm rolling PvE--which will probably next week, or the week after that. Unlucky old me missed the opportunity for the free Death Slaad (to be expected, worst luck ever) so I got a little depressed and venting out in PvP for the time being
