Is The Honey Badger glitched still or fixed?!

Hey folks! I plan on buying a companion tonight and was excited to go with Honey Badger! However, I read on forums that this Companion is glitched and dies and doesn't come back or something like that? I saw a topic also on here about it but it was from April or so where the company and forum mods even acknowledged there was a bug with that companion.

Just curious if this has been resolved or if it's still glitched/buggy before I drop $20 on it.

    edit: confirmed, dies and wont come back alone, all my other companions did. hope that helps.

    This link above was what I read last night. The thread is a little over a year old so there's a good chance it was fixed by now hopefully?

    Figured I'd check here for confirmation before I purchase, otherwise if it's still bugged I'll pick out a different companion.

    It's definitely still broken and I honestly dont know if they have acknowledged it or looking to fix it. I put my purchase down to wasted Zen and ended up grabbing a Galeb Duhr instead.

    I have the badger but I never noticed this issue and I use it quite often.
