Soooooo What's next?

So I have all the campaigns done except PVP, but I am not a huge fan of PVP. I cant do any tier 2 dungeons (without being in a party that glitches or the plan is to die a thousand times...boring). Nothing really has any drops you can sell anymore to work on upgrading gear.

So whats next?

wait a week and start doing strongholds - ofc you can only really participate if you're in a guild...

In the meantime you could accompany the T2 glitchers to get some seals. Funny that you need T2 armour to do T2 dungeons - which give you the T2 armour that you need to do the T2 dungeons - see what they did there?

Halo, AC, Forza 6 are all out now and I seem to be spending more and more time in them Last daily to do in IWD today and I have all available boons (except the last two TOD ones which are pointless as we all know).
Other than working up my new Pally there isn't much worth doing until strongholds drops and we get an Idea whether it will hold players attention and keep the community motivated.

If PC is any clue....when Strongholds releases there will be some people on, but then a week or two later the player count will drop drastically. Worse than it is at now.

Yeah I have no care about Strongholds. WHat comes after that? Anything worth sticking around for. I just don't get why they do not make tier 2 dungeons attainable to complete. If there was a goal to grow into and be able to do that Id still be playing a lot. But once you have every boon and almost 3k ILS and you still cant do tier 2 whats the point?

AND een if you could whats the point? Nothing you can get to sell and grow your character. Remember when Shores dropped the shores set rarely. That gave you a reason to run it over and over. Whats the reason now?

Hasnt the shores set just been replaced by Valindra, Tiamat, lathander, black ice, and lostmauth sets? All able to be sold in the A.H. Dont these items drop in dungeons and skirmishes? Only now you're not getting booted when one drops... even if you dont get one of these items you can still salvage the other items you get. Which can buy you what you want in time...

Craft unified elements and aggregates, exquisite rings and cloths to get BIS & epic.
Try finding a 2x OP + DC to run eCC legitimately. OP + DC or 2x OP could also be able to do it sometimes.
Try soloing various encounters in Vigilance zones (Drowned Shores, Fiery Pit, etc).
Level a different character (OP, DC, GWF, etc.)
Run skirmishes to get cosmetic items or seals.
Farm HE in Icewind Dail.
Buy and epic icepick and farm black ice to buy some artifacts with it.

P.S. I'm doing all of that a little bit, plus playing some other games I haven't finished like DA: Inquisition and Witcher 3, will also play AC: Syndicate and Fallout 4 once I get them.

AC: Syndicate is an amazing game. I am strictly playing that now, aside from doing dailies on NW. Then when Fallout 4 comes out and BLOPS3 comes out, I may not be getting on NW ever again. Which I am sure that is how most of the Xbox community feels as well.

That was the only place people went pre mod 6.. since I apparently have to state the obvious, the population is all over the place now. Doing HEs in Icewind Pass and Dwarven Valley.. just the number of dailies ensure people won't be concentrated in WoD.

Yeah 2 active instances frequently in Icewind dale, PE instances with ONE other person in them yep game is fine nothing to see here at all.
I guess you aren't alone in needing to state the obvious, funny how long it can take these days to get a run going even when you already have four in a party eh?

Full instances in WOD and IWD would likely be farming HE for enchantments for DE weekend.

We'll agree to disagree. One thing i will say.. PE may appear dead because a lot of people don't have to go there anymore. VIP. Though i didn't check instances last night, seemed like a ton of people in there just because trick or treat going on right now.

Q system is jacked. It sucks but the only solution the player has is to make a team of 5. Hopefully they fix it. If you don't have many active guildies or friends, you can go to Caer Konig or one of the other popular places people go and make a party. We do it if we're missing one or two.

I see way too few full instances compared to the past, more worryingly the lower level zones when ranking up an ALT can be like wastelands now with scarcely another player to be seen for ages. Thats where one would expect to find the scrubs grinding their way up and yet there are very few generally speaking whenever I take an Alt in there to work it up some more

Without new blood coming in the normal churn in games like this will kill it.

Just another delusional person who can't admit that the game has FAR less people playing then it has had. When Strongholds comes out some people will come back, and then after a week or two will leave again with a whole new chunk of people quitting.
I get that you must love the game and don't want to admit/see the game sinking into a dark hole, but it really is. And soon enough those 8...I repeat 8 full instances will be but a shadow. As you would be lucky to see 1....I repeat 1 full instance by the end of November or so.

I really hope they are working on porting Foundry to Xbox. Without it, even Strongholds with their multi-tier unlocking mechanics, wide selection of rewards and endless grinding would make no difference and the game would drift to the bottom of the charts.

I agree with the PE being dead for other reasons. I used to always be in PE for invoking and picking up the daily ToD quests but as I've done them all now I tend to stick around IWD or Sharandar now. And obviously the Stronghold. I only go to PE if I need to PUG a dungeon which is rare.

All you really need to do a T2 dungeon is two haste clerics and a paladin and 2 DPS. You can complete all the T2 dungeons with ease that way. I ran ECC with a group from my guild last night and I literally didn't take any damage at Blackdagger because the OP always had his bubble. I was getting my Daily immediately after I used it too.

Soooooo What's next?
