So I've been doing a couple of HEs on the preview and want to give some early feedback about them.
Generally there seem to be 3 different HEs, at three fixed locations per map, that spawn randomly once the previus demonic HE is completed.
Additionally, there is only one demonic HE active at a time. Once enough players participate, the next wave of monsters becomes stonger and more and new demons may spawn. There also seems to be a "bonus stage", which i couldn't experiece yet, as I never got enough players toghether.
I personally don't see a big issue that there are only 3 different HEs, because all of them get more interesting as more players join the fight. However, I dislike the next point: fixed locations. All of the 3 HEs spawn at fixed locations, sometimes well, other times badly spread along the map. I belive it would be easy to implement 4-7 fixed locations on the map and makeing the HEs spawn anywhere on those spots.
Having only one HE active at a time is a double-edged sword: On the one hand, all players will go to one HE, increasing the rewards and fun for everybody, but on the other hand, on maps like dread ring, a single HE feels sort of "out of place" on otherwise empty map.
Here is a HE-Idea that i've come up with, if the developers want to increase the different amounts of HEs:
A fight against a boss-like demon, who turns invincible whenever he spawns mobs (15-30s) and stays invinicible until all mobs are killed.
The challenge in this HE is the time, like in "Demonic Slaughter". The bonus stage could reincarnate the boss, making you fight a harder version of him.
Finally, i want to add, that the rewards seem interesting and appropriate and i'm excited about the new rings.
