    If you can't rush it, copy and paste it.

    Go read the description in game for the new mark of potency.

    I still think that keyboard + mouse > controller.

    Not fair for xbox player if a merging is coming ( And i'm a PC player)

    I still think cross platform play, at lleast between xbone and PC, is the right direction.

    @gigliato

    I dont...
    • The gap between have and have nots would grow exponentially.
    • While they would appear to be sharing the same hardware resources on Arc's side, the XBox Live component would likely still have them needing to segment out each platform in some way. Xbox server issues are bad enough already as well.
    • The input differences (mouse \ keyboard \ controler) would be a point of contention from both sides (they have an advantage, yada yada).
    • The market would be chaos for months.

    unless cryptic starts holding back on PC content to sync with xbox one release (which has stringent guidelines / reviews for release due to MS XBL constraints), I don't see the two platforms being in exactly the same place. Otherwise PC will always be 2-4 weeks ahead of console.

    Plus, true parity is never even realistic as long as the foundry and gateway aren't available to console

    It's already been stated by cryptic that cross platform is a pie in the sky idea based on current technologies and console vs pc considerations.

    It wouldn't even be fair to console players. Its a hell of a lot easier to tab-target as an example, which would give an immediate advantage (esp with groups that are good at focused fire). Granted, consoles may one day have keyboard/mouse as an option, but there is still the adv of running apps in conjunction with the game on PC (e.g. bots, parsing, etc) that it would be completely unbalanced between the two platforms. Why do people think this is a good idea?

    As an xbox player, If PC and xbox are merged, I'm out. I've watched people playing the same character I play on PC pull out moves that are extremely difficult for me to pull off with a controller. PC players can rotate the camera view and target enemies with an ease that can not be matched by the xbox.

    The PC players would dominate the market and the in game economy. The highest item level guys on the xbox currently are in the 3.5-3.8 item level. There may be some higher than that but 3.8 is the highest I've seen and most of the top end PvP'ers are currently 3.2-3.5 item level. There are countless 4k Bis characters on the PC with stockpiles of resources. They would enter the game and immediately mollywhop the xbox players.

    Not fair to the console players is an understatement.
