Astral resonators. get a planar idol, trade it with rhix, get astral diamonds from rift, around 45k refined per pop.

I sold some yesterday, good profit. have like 300 or so left.

To answer this and your OP, on PC they would sometimes have an event called a "lockbox resurgence". During the event any previous dropped lockbox has a chance to drop instead of the current one. In this case the rng isn't bad, old lockboxes dropped often, but for a specific one it would be lower.

What you should be asking for is one of the many lockboxes not released for xbox yet. The Feywild and Dark Forest from Sharandar, Rusted Iron, and of course Unearthed from Dread Ring and Frozen Crystal and Lockbox of the Magnificent Emporium from Icewind Dale, all drop planar idols.

Don't be, there will be a new lockbox, but...

Each DLC has (usually) 2 lockboxes designed to support the content. There were 4 elemental themed.There are still 3 upcoming that match EE and Strongholds releases. What we need is someway for them to drop the themed ones that match the current DLC (that's their selling strategy and that won't change) and supplement it with an older one. Maybe one old one for a week every 4 weeks or two at once for a limited time. Like a mini-resurgence, even though we haven't had them. Like what was mistakenly? (depends on who you believe) done with Black Earth.

Several very popular mounts come from those unreleased boxes. Sylvan Stag, Tenser's disk, Black Ice Warhorse and the Owlbear from the ones I listed. Not to mention the Mystic Nightmare for the special edition of the first lockbox.

i wish i had farmed more of these. probably the most limited lock box since i started playing. i only ended up with a little over 100 and all the other boxes are between 500-1000.

some of the earlier lockboxes we never got that do have the planar idols also have black ice shaping packs which means they are directed at recent content for us. it's not impossible. they need to have multi drop at once imho. more than one kind of lockbox to support the many many packs we got all at once.

Yep, the two from the Icewind Dale cycle. Technically, all of the lockboxes I listed are directed at content we just received. I agree it's not impossible, they just need to figure out a way of releasing past lockboxes concurrently with the four Elementals. Personally, I'm still hoping for the Feywild themed boxes to be released soon.
