let me explain pls what i mean by that:
we all know current pvp is in a very bad state, with many exploits and broken ench, feat, powers etc.
my suggestion is to add one more q option for pvp based on skill only.
now what do i mean by that:
once you q and enter the match you are stripped off all of your gear artifacts ench etc, instead you get a Fixed gear with unique stat for every class. the gear and stat will not change and are fixed to each class.
that means if you are a cleric and have another cleric in your team he will have same gear and stat as you same goes for enemy cleric if they have one.
this pvp option will be based on team work and skill more then who has the bigger...
im pretty sure players who avoided pvp so far and /or players who refuse to pvp anymore because of the problems mention above will be willing to try it.

To win pve contents, you only need 2500~3000 item level.
The game need to create an imbalance environment(PvP especially) in order to encouraging ppl spend their money to win.
However, this is not 'p2w', since based on your skills, you have chances(but not too much) to beat higher gear focks.
I understand your point, but its plain impossible. Just separate the q the problem solved
no blue bop gear dropping from an end boss dragon like bird excrement on its shoulder.
i love pvp, they had their time to work on it and they failed/didnt even try.
now that time is passed and pve needs love
the problem is every mod, EVERY single one they have added game breaking progression , that they now have also LIMITED on how to achieve it, without leadership, its nigh impossible. (an additional 4 slots, mythic levels, trans stuff and now new draining glyphs.. oh boyz) You have to play with both skill and gear. Sure you can be down a few ranks of enchants and compete, but you cant be down 4 slots + 4 legendary and mythic levels below and 2-3 ranks of enchants and not have wards in place anymore to compete. Im not really complaining about this, its just more a statement then anything else.
AT ONE time they could've found a solution in terms of not allowing premades vs non premade queus and such things as was offered many times. But because they were too slow in instituting items like this, the pvp population slowly started drifting away. Simple pvp premade queue and non premade queue would've done wonders for the game.
Devs truly think that we leave this game when we get our shinies.. they truly believe that. Im not kidding.
This game was at its best in those early mods , thats for sure.

In my opinion, pvp started going downhill when tenacity was introduced.
Cryptic could have simply given everyone some tenacity instead of putting tenacity on gear.
I gear/spec all my characters for pve and I will not re-gear or re-spec for pvp.
Why? Let me put it this way: I'm really beginning to hate TR's.
How many times have you seen this?
The TR is in a hurry. Not just a "hurry", but a HURRY. Maybe he's been mainlining caffeine, or maybe after six cups of coffee he needs a bathroom break in the worst way. Or maybe he just can't wait a microsecond longer to get back to killing other players. Who knows the reason -- but he's in a *****HURRY*****.
So he runs ahead of the group -- again, again, and again -- and either gets killed, or as just happened to me, realizes that he can't handle the dozen enemies, plus everything they're spawning or conjuring into existence, and pulls back -- leading them ALL into the party.
So, of course, we wipe, regroup, and eventually kill them.
But he's in a HURRY!
So he does it again, pulling everything, but neglecting to go after the portal that's spawning more and more and more.
Portals? Pah! He's in a hurry!
By now this is the fifth or sixth time, and I know the lair, so I beeline for the portal and take it out. The TR? He's already entered the boss' chamber.
Because he's in a HURRY, dammit!
Has this happened to you? If I had a nickel for every time it's happened to me...you know how the saying goes.
Move PvP to its own server and let them kill each other nonstop, without the need for them to do these annoying story-based quests. Clearly there is zero interest in doing them from that crowd.

I, myself hate pvp so I would have 2 pve builds, depending on the class, I figure I would have a DC built for group healing and another build for a solo dps.
I imagine that's what I would do with all my toons, a feat tree/gear build for groups/dungeons and another for trolling about solo.
When I played that bad bad game ..dare I say it big WoopW (WoW), they introduced a 2 build panes per character, I built one for running things like wintergrasp (pvp zone) but then the dungeon after you took the zone,,,pvp gear made zero sense, with the 2 pane system you could instantly switch out gear and power builds to suit the new situation. I loved that, didn't have to go back to a vault (and hold up the action doing so), just to trade out everything 1 by 1 to be set for the new action.
I imagine if they did that, it would be real sweet, you could run up one feat tree and then another and flip between them depending on the situations dictates, you could see what one than more tree was like.
So if that was an option in this game, what would you do? Just curious.
1) Not all classes are skill based. There's no skill involved in playing TR or OP, and not much in playing DC or GWF.
2) Some of the skill involved in this game is in getting your build right - that means gear.
What we really need is class balancing. Healing/support powers of different characters should not stack (so a DC and OP can't just troll a node for the duration of a match). The four classes that are basically control immune need to take more damage. TR stealth, auto crits and piercing damage need a serious rethink. So, too, does HR perma-stun, but only if HRs get the same kind of rethink that TRs got for mod 5 instead of having their damage nerfed into insignificance in eight different ways. Class paragon and feat paths need to be balanced, enchantments need to be balanced, and Gauntlgrym and domination should be solo queue only. And there's so much wrong with BiS GWF that I barely know where to begin.
