Level 70 and progression

silvetazsilvetaz Member Posts: 11 Arc User
Hi all, so I recently hit lvl 70 on my first character, as I did i tried finding information on where to progress now.
But to my loss (not sure if my googling has gone rusty or the just isnt out there)

What is the proposed progression path from here?

Obviously I'm grinding out the four Boon areas (3 DR, 2 Shar, 1 IWD, 4ToD currently)

But as for dungeons and skirmishes, which dungeons should I start with?
whats a good progression path from easiest to hardest? Im currently at 2.3k GS and ive done EToS once and got myself an elemental alliance helmet. So where should I start and what dungeons drop what? both normal and Epics are interesting.

TL:DR Rank the lvl70 dungeons and skirmishes from easiest to hardest. What drops where?

Use the ingame catalogue to know where to get items.

Dungeons Difficulty level (easiest to hardest)

    T1
    Malabog / Elol
    Valindra

    T2
    Tos
    GreyWolf
Cragmire ( i think the last boss is the hardest )

    Skirmishes
    Kessel
    Tuern

Keep grinding spider dungeon for marks if it is possible. You can also run eCC for gear.Grey Wolf is also possible but its bossfight require alittle bit more groupbonding.I saw elemental belt, feet, chest piece in eCC.I dont know how is your guild status.Do you have access Dragonflight event? If the answer is NO,buy elven gear with the marks you farmed from spider(There is seal vendor for elven gear in Protectors Enclave Seven Sun Market) .Run Dragon Heralds in Well of Dragons when you are bored or tired from dungeons. It will give some nice free refinement stones.Hold onto them until next 2x refinement event(Probably there is an event in 15 days)

Farm kessell retreat/shores of tuern twice a day.It gives raw AD and their chest doesnt require key(at least one of them) like dungeons so you can salvage whatever blue gear you got from them for some extra raw AD.ESOT also gives a boon book which can give some extra boost to your AD income by selling it

Some people try to farm Lostmauth for drops(Horn, neckpiece) with the first gear they got but it is really waste of time.No proper group will get 2k+ player to farm those dungeons so you are stuck with newbies like you and drops are very scarce for even high dps runners to make real money from them.My suggestion is build your character at least 2.5k or more then you can try to farm dungeons for AD

I know people will be angry for me suggesting this but get in Tiamat fight when its hoard reclamation hits 3 or 4(more experienced players). You can get neck artifact item with 15 linu for yourself(it is bonded)if you dont have one.

Well this is my personal experience. There can be other people with different suggestions

Thanks for this mate, much appreciated.

So for now there is no point in running the T1 dungeons such as normal malabog, Valindra and Lair of Lostmauth?

Guild is currently at SH lvl 6 so we are getting there, and I join dragon raids anytime I can. Problem for me is mainly time, full time work, 4 kids as well as dogs, cats, snakes and wife does limit playtime quite a bit :P
