There item lvl1 Thought these where artifect's?

    You refine items into artifacts gear to raise levels, similar to regular artifacts

    All artifact weapons start at lvl 1.

    Be careful that these are not the transmutation weapons... there is one for each of the elements and as far as I can tell they are all titled "weapon_type of elemental Fire, Water, Air, Earth" I have gotten all four for the gwf like the great axe of elemental fire. My artifact weapon is the Elemental Fire Great Axe.

    Xristopher1024, went through the link and unless I totally missed it, it doesn't say how they are received. The reason I ask is I am having trouble getting my orb of elemental fire. Did all the vigilant tasks (i think) and after completing what I believed is the last place to fo vigilant task in spineward, I haven't got mine yet at lvl 70. Thanks.

    IIRC the NPC that gives quest for artifact main hand is he lady in Spinward raise that is off on the one side sort of by herself on a wooden platform area. She may not have the < ! > above her head.
    I know that's not very detailed. Sorry.

    The link above shows the transmutation pieces only, not the actual artifact equipment... AE can be found at this link: http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Artifact_equipment

    The off hand or main hand (I forget which) is given as a reward for completing Elemental Evil story line and the other is received when turning level 70 (I think you speak to Sgt. Knox or Neverember or both).

    The transmutation pieces are received from Heroic encounters, Skill nodes and such if im not mistaken.
