Buying Zen via Steam Wallet Has Been Failing (anyone else having this issue?)

Hi,

My name is Dana and I have a Zen addiction [claps from the room]

Don't get me wrong, it's how the company makes their money and stays in business and I see nothing wrong with it.

I run Neverwinter via Steam because I can run into issues with the ARC client after patches.

This is what has been happening:
From the Neverwinter game I open the Zen market window. I then click the shopping cart icon on the bottom of the window. The purchase Zen window comes up. I then click the amount I would like to spend. I then make sure Steam Wallet is selected and I click Buy. Now this usually launches another window so I can add funds to my Steam Wallet. BUT now NOTHING happens. After about 3 to 5 minutes of playing the game I get a message in bold red letters, "You canceled your purchase"

Can you tell this is a copy and paste from what I sent to Steam and Perfect World Entertainment?

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a feeling it's not a common issue. Steam is looking into this right now.

I used to buy Zen as a reward for myself when I did good with my eating and my things to do during the week. It's a very positive reinforcement and a really good thing for me.

When I first played for about 6 months I never purchased Zen. Then I wanted this beautiful purple unicorn since my armor is purple. I had some Zen left over so I purchased some keys. Once I opened that first strongbox I was hooked.

As a side note I have a weird thing about Zen. I will purchase keys to open strongboxes but I won't buy experience or a weapon with Zen, it feels like cheating to me. Please don't take offense if you do buy experience and the like, I'll quest with you any day. I've bought a mount once but mainly keys. Say if I opened a strongbox and there was a Enchantment Level 16 super rare inside I would not use it on my equipment but I would use it to refine a item.

Buying zen through Steam only puts you on probation with limits your options with the purchased zen. Thank you, I'll check that out. I just hope it works while running NW in Steam (which prevents problems with my computer when there's an update)

You can also run the game directly, you do not need ARC or Steam, both of which use system resources.

Why anyone would want to give cryptic money with all the horror they have caused the player base I cannot fathom. We need solidarity in not giving them a single dime until they change their anti player ways.

Hi guys,

Sorry if this sounds like a promotion. I really didn't intend for it to sound like this. I tried to make it sound funny to start. No one has to spend a dime on this game that's a great thing. Anyway, sorry.
