Join Dungeons/ Skirmishes, but not the party?

For the past few days, every time I join a dungeon or skirmish, I don't join the party. I can't see anyone else on the left side of the screen, and I don't get to roll on any drops. I've tried to join the party, but get an error about "not being able to join when queued for an instance". Also, when I leave, the instance doesn't go away until about 10 minutes later (I still see the "return to instance" option. Has anyone else run into this?

Someone suggested on a different post that you request from the group leader to join their party - I know it shouldn't happen but try this as a work-around.

It seems to have sorted itself out... yesterday it just started working. Thanks for the tip though!

its still happening, but its of great benefit to high damage players,they can pick up every bit off loot and get the daily astral diamonds at the end.

this is also a fact in the skirmish, zero loot being dropped, so high dps player get it all, you still get your astral diamonds from the chest though.

My DC had the party issue in 3 dungeon runs today - I tried requesting an invite from the group and I got a red notice saying that it wasn't possible in that area.

Someone tried to invite me and I received a trade request instead - I can't be sure he didn't press the wrong button but it happened several times.

I had no issue on the other characters. I tried quitting the game fully and going back but it didn't help on the next run.

Happened to me and other players several times in a row today. Come to think of it, every single run I've attempted had this glitch. This is extremely annoying. The only benefit is that monsters who already agro-ed the main party ignore me until I start making damage to them (which is nice when you are a CW and there are no tanks but TRs and dps DCs in the party).

It appears like the server places two parties in a single dungeon instance.
E.g. in one case after finding myself not in the party I left the dungeon (eCC) in the very beginning and then returned to it 10 minutes later and have found myself in the very end of the dungeon, alone, with the last bridge not even extended and instance timer (in the stats window) saying that this instance was running for over 10 hours. When some other people joined they were placed in the beginning of the dungeon, so I obviously exited. Maybe I should have tried my luck and went practicing soloing eLoL.

Mine fixed itself after 24 hours - I did log a support ticket but I doubt it was them doing any fixing.

had this problem 2 days. Then once when I was again in instance without party I asked my friend to sent me invite to group. Then I left the group still inside the dungeon, yet it didn't kick me out but it did give me to party with rest of people in dungeon. After finishing dungeon and leaving group I had no longer this bug in another instance.

yep that's my experience, it's happened to me a few times now. I just ask a guildie to send me an invite for a fix when it happens.
