Some help for a little Trapper

Hi eveyone,

This is my first time on the english forums, I come seeking your help on the hunter topic. If you have any feedback on how i can improve this toon in any way.
I'm playing as a PVE HR Trapper and I would like to maximize her. So I'm here to ask the best of you if you could give me some advices to be a little perfect hunter :3

So, here I am.

I don't already have the perfect set, I don't have transcendent enchantments and orange pets but I think I miss something and don't use all the power I should have.
Does it really matter to be with blue and orange everywhere ??

Well, I think I told you everything. So you will be so sweet if some of you would help me to be one of the best Trapper :)





I spoke with a friend, and he told me to change (when I'll have AD for) :

CHANGE MY PETS FOR:
- Ioun (or Chicken if I can buy it) -> change the Ring
- Air Archon
- Fire Archon
- Erinyes of Belial
- Dancing Blade
-> Up them

UP MY ENCHANTS
-> Do I really have to use Brutal gems on attack slots or can I keep my Radiant ones ?

BUY THE RIGHT SET
Buy the guild set (when we'll have the market open, and we're only Guild lvl 4 ^^')
-> Is it the best set of the game, or keep mine and up it would be better ?
-> If I have to change, I'll do it after change my pets and other things that don't change every mod :)

USE REINFORCEMENT
-> I'll do that at the end, when all other things will be perfect, cause we always change our set.

Do you agree with ?

Edit : I spoke with a nice Trapper and he told me to take the path specialisation. I think that's the point I missed but did I keep my boons and talents ?

    ^This is soooo very true, they will increase your damage a lot and last so much longer, you'll never want to be caught without them...

    I saw the link and I have some questions about points you put on Trapper Feats :

    -> Why should I put 5 points on Fleet Stance instead of Readied Stance ?
    Aren't AP better than move faster ?

    -> Why don't I put 5 points on Trapper's cunning ?


    I also change my characteristic's points for :
    20 STR____________________22 STR
    26 DEX_____instead of_____27 DEX
    22 WIS____________________19 WIS


    Is there anything else I have to change ?

    Fleet vs readied is a personal choice. I dont need the ap gain at all. Trappers cunning is not a bad feat you can take it if you wanted i just prefer not to so i can have a boost in my life steal half the time. Really the most important feats are the ones that increase dmg or reduce cooldown while changing stances/using a power and anything that boost your roots or makes them last longer. Other than that you can play around and add your own taste!

    You need str lower as possible and wis higher as possible.
    Then you still have 3k - armor pen more than needed.
    Savage in every defense slot or a mix of darks and radiants.

    Feats: go full trapper. Ancient root and serpent bite is a lot of dps

    And yes probably switching to pathfinder is required.
    Carefull attack with lostmauth is really much dps in single target

    After a moment of reflexion, I finally put points as you told me to do.

    Rayrdan :
    - I tried to remove some Armor pen (I changed my Rings for those we can find in ETOS) but I'm still 8k6. All of the 8k6 come from my set.
    - Why Savage echant and not Brutal ? Brutal isn't it better ? oô Savage gives Arm pen and power whereas Brutal gives Critic and power... No ? ^^'


    Despite all your help, I did an ELOL with a HR Archery and I just did 1M more dmg than him. Just some hour before, this same HR was 7M far away from another Trapper who was really fewer equiped than me... Why ? What am I doing wrong ? ^^'

    When i said savage i mean in your defense slot.
    Try again the run playing with hindering shot, cordon pf arrow and constricting arrow.
    You dont need more than 60% armor pen, more is 0 bonus damage

    Hi,

    I tried to up Critical and down armor pen by change my rings. That's all right.

    I think I'll try to change my breed too for human and win 3 more points I could put on Scoundrel Training.
