How do you make AD in game now?

Most stuff you drop is bound. the dungeons are somehow hard to beat. you really can't sell stuff, and the A/D cap is too low to be able to buy good things just playing.

what is the point in making it easier to make enchantments and refine stuff when you make it impossible to make any profit on pve? PC has became a ghost town because the PvE was killed, and then crypitic copy and paste this same absurd change on xbox. the game balance is much better and lot more fun, but we all know the process will repeat on PC because the game cannot live without the PvE community.

what do you guys think?

If you're talking about epic gear or other drops from bosses, it's what they're trying to get away from. The idea is if you can buy all the gear from ah, what's the point of playing?

Othan than that, level your professions. Sell the stuff you make. If you spend a lot of time, farm refinement and sell it. Lots of things to sell. You could sell things that people use to level popular professions, for those that are impatient.

Sell the lvl 70 gemmed exquisite shirt/pants you make from professions. I have sold 2 shirts and 2 pants, all for around 200k+ AD each.

pretty much what raymond said. i try to keep most of my refinement stones, but there is limited inventory space so i use some and sell some as well. i have VIP so depending what i get from my daily lock box, i will either keep or sell. also when there are events, sometimes it's better for me to sell whatever object we are collecting than to try and collect enough to get something nice. right now i get somewhere between 20-50k AD a day, plus 24k from my rough AD stash. not incredible, but i am not really trying right now either.

professions is good too. the only problem is it takes AD to make AD with it. i am a master platesmith now, but i need an epic bellow and some other items to start producing something profitable. hopefully i can work on that this weekend.

You can't sell the TOP TOP stuff, but you can sell the gemmed ones. Which still net a handsome sum.

I'm still getting used to it too but in mod 5 if you were a low gs/new player, buying T2 gear cost a week's worth of AD - per piece. The economy turned in your favour as you increased in GS but it was essentially geared so that higher players sucked money from the newer ones like a pyramid scheme.

In mod 6 I've got a big increase in refining stones/enchantments dropping, there are more things to do and more ways to make money with selling lower value stuff more often but I'm not that worried about AD at the moment - for me it's all about getting the boons from the campaigns, increasing my IL and saving up enough RP for the double weekend - whenever that is...(!)

hnmmm, I have been making some AD between my chars refining stuff etc. It is NOT very practical though be switching between alts to get more rough ad into AD haha, but it is better than nothing i guess, especially with everything else dropping of price. so i guess it is not too bad after all. I think the mass quit on PC had more to do with too many players using bots on gateway to farm AD from professions, and as soon as it ended they got lazy to farm AD the real deal.

I have been making AD by events and dailies, daily enchanted key, the last event I made around 500k AD. Today I made 100k profit in AH by somebody selling gemmed pants for 16k - sold after for 161k(seems mistake on their part to forgetting the extra 0).

Pats fire is talking rubbish as you need professions at least level 20 and you still need the resources to make the items and then there's the matter of the lengthy call downs Making diamonds now is harder than this Pats fire is making it out to be!!!!!

I use to make loads of Diamonds out of the well of dragons purple drops and now the well of dragons is an empty husk
They have ruined the well of dragons

I just play the game without worrying about earning AD. I make a couple thousand a day on 2 alternate characters from Invocations (main focus is my main character, Nora). i convert AD to zen a little at a time. while AD is nice to have, it's really not the core of the game for me. It's just a side thing to remind myself of it's existence.
But to answer the OP's question, i'm making AD about the same as always: salvage, leadership profession, dailies, and occasionally i sell things on the AH. mostly enchantments i do not need, or other things i feel someone else will use. almost never is it gear.

Did I miss them talking about going away from epic gear being rewards from dungeons? I hadn't heard anything about it from the devs or Andy, I like both mod 5 and mod6 for different reasons but, it does seem like professions such as, selling the reinforcement kits csn make some decent cash. However, it doesn't do anything more for you with Double AD. I bought a bunch of epic eq before they switched to mod 6 so luckily I had a decent amount of stuff to salvage. Wish I could help you out more but, I've been taking my time with mod 6 so it doesn't get boring too fast.

This is true about AD to Zen. However Cryptic aren't bothered about that as it doesn't affect their income. They only care about the $ to Zen.

I've just found this Trace's Guide to AD Creation and Wealth Building from PC version.
It mostly focuses on trading, but there are a lot of options there still.
