Every companion needs to be re-summoned WHEN they die. I can see why you may be confused, or maybe I don't understand clearly. There are certain instances when a companion LEGIT dies, like falling off a cliff and stuff, and they need to be re-summoned. However in combat they should just get knocked out and then regain their health.
Yup, and the reason why I still main an augment. May not be BIS anymore for certain situations but at least I'm not babysitting. I do enough of that already.

It seems like they Broke the Badger with the last Update. When I first Bought the Badger this is how he behaved. They then did a patch to fix it. It seems like Elemental Evil reverted back to pre-patch fix.
Patsfire, yes you are confused, as the badger does not automatically resurrect after combat should he die fighting, instead he just lies there, dead as a doornail on the ground, sprawled out like yesterdays news.. no amount of healing (I'm cleric) will cure this neither.. I have to manually resummon him sometimes and it's very annoying..
