Odd GG match

So there were 2 premade teams with some PUGS (including me) in a match. The other team let our side take 4 of the 5 caps while blatantly watching us. After that, premade members from our side began asking us not to cap.

That went on for awhile--with neither side apparently trying to cap. After a good while, the game broke out as normal. Since we had a comfortable lead, we won--I don't believe the other side even tried. I got may daily Seal, hurrah.

Anyone know what that was all about?

    Possibly trading/giving wins. It happens once in awhile, in PVP modes/games where there is currency only in that game mode.

    Otherwise IDK maybe testing something else.

    maybe they were trying to farm mobs (GG achievement) after lost GG match (console activated) hmm?
    btw, still GG achiv's are broken, you cant gather dbl or triple kills, since 6 months I believe

    Ran a DOM once where the premade side did nothing and let us cap all 3 nodes till we've about 800 points, then they proceeded to massacre my pug team and win the game.

    Well at least we got our glory...

    Those are all interesting ideas. They did seem interested in the nodes with mobs, but it was still unclear what the idea was....

    Probably farm mobs...I actually get tells in game from other team that they are farming mobs and ignore those caps.

    Ahh no wonder my 2x 3x kills weren't registering, didn't know its been an issue for a while.

    i think i saw that match on twitch stream they were actually taking and laughing letting you get to 800 points and then just stump on you guys . never have i seen a more shameful behavior then this one.

    they were all
    'top pvp guildies".

    and they wonder why players hate pvp and pvp guilds so much after events like this. hmmm really????

    Actually seems pretty nice of them to let you get some points rather than just stomp the other team ao they get nothing.

    they were farming mobs (golems)/ NPC to get 1000 killed npc GG campaign task. In some matches i've been in, both alliances do the same.

    Okay. I know the task. It just didn't make sense at the time.
